I've had a blast talking to you guys, but I think its time to go for a while. Unlike some who leave out of boredom or burnout, I need to leave for a while to focus on following my dreams (or a valiant attempt at such).

That is to say< i am going to try to do a creator owned comic and I feel I really need to focus. I have been here a lot and neglecting my obligations to others (who are working with me), so I am cancelling my internet, putting the games away, and getting down to brass tacks. Maybe when I have a little more personal restraint, I'll pop on back in. Until, then, though. Farewell! And take care.

Don't worry GD, I haven't forgotten our little bet. I'll be in touch via the occasional MySpace visit.

publish a creator owned comic on CD , they're cheaper to produce ($.50 each) and you can go full color. Heck, if you do it right, you can even go flash interactive and have actors provide the voices for your characters!

Sinister,

I hope you succeed at your venture. Remember man, online will help you in your goals here. I'll help you and your partners advertise your product in the same vein that Superhero Hype and Comingsoon are now trying to advertise their Red 5 comic series.

See you around SP. We may not have seen eye-to-eye on everything, but I wish you the best and look forward to your triumphant return.

it was my noobiness that unfocused you, wasnt it? jk!

For real, that is totally awesome you are doing this for yourself! No one can do it by YOU

i didnt really get to know you yet, but i enjoyed a lot of your comments in the forums. I hope and pray you follow your desires and find open doors of good opportunities! I am sure in the future, you will not regret it. No one can, if they give their dreams the best shot they can. Dont give up and I look forward to maybe seeing a follow up post.

Enjoy life, live your dreams & make the most of it all! PEACE :)

~hugs~

Good luck! We'll miss you.

And then we'll think about how you're doing cooler things than we are, and we'll hate you just a little.

But mostly we'll miss you because we love you. :)

Wow, my internet was suppose to be off an hour ago, I guess I was a little premature in my posting....

Anyway, thank you all for advice and support.

I have not settled on a medium for said comic (as I cannot afford a page for hosting, I find print a much better choice - comixpress.com being perfect for my needs). I am not looking to go "big" but simply put to do something, to produce something and enjoy doing it. The internet is still a viable option (I see DC has unveiled their new web-comic plans, so who knows). Rather, it is I am far too easily distracted by the internet, cable, video games, etc. Once the comic is done and I have put it out (succeed or fail) you can bet your ass that I'll be back in here and chatting up a storm about things that don't really matter to anyone but me and possibly some of you!

When I come back (hopefully with something I can be proud of) I'll be happy to share my efforts be it the web space where it appears or by way of free copies sent via snail mail.

Thank you again, so much.

Best of luck man!

Hope not having the internet works... I couldn't manage, I use it all the time in my writing.
