Soooo, I was thinking on my way to work yesterday what fun it would be to start a thread where folks could open up about what they like to do when their husbands, wives or partners are gone. What does the mouse do when the cat's away?

Me? I tend to work more overtime. But when I do come home, I tend to cook things that only I like. I might do a feature film marathon (all the Star Trek movies or Star Wars, or any trilogy you can think of). Definately, housekeeping and personal hygene will go right out the door during those times!

So what do YOU do? Don't worry. You can be honest. As far as I know, I'm the only one here whose spouse actually posts here so no one will tell.

As far as going to Northern New York to spend a day with Mrs. K is a wonderful idea. But, that is a 24 hour day. Not a six hour day, eight hour day. We are talking a full twenty-four hours. I don't care if we drive one way for 12 hours and then drive back for 12 hours. Two house mama's gone. :)

I don't have a SO, but my parents occasionally come down and spend time with me. They just left after spending 3 weeks at my house. What do I do when they leave? Pretty much the same, sit around and do nothing - only with more beer and more porn. :anismirk:

It is my sad duty to inform you that Raps and I received notice that our beloved brother Jakester has died. He was killed in a disasterous traffic accident on a highway in Pennsylvania. According to state troopers, Jake was had reached a velocity of just over 400 miles per hour on his way to Wisconsin, with a stained print-out of Kah's last post clutched in his fingers.

He'll be sorely missed.

No...I'm okay. When I was in the accident, there was very little blood in my body. Which is to say, all of my blood was in one part of my body, so they just sewed me up I was good to go.
In the future, I think it'd probably help to know where Kah lives.
