Let's be honest: The entire Origin series has been SUCH a huge disappointment from issue #1... And I know you agree with me...
I mean, COME ON!!!
we're getting THE STORY here, and what happens..? IT'S DULL!!! (un-flippin'-believable)
And I can not find the words to articulate how much I hate Dillon's art.
why, you ask? BECAUSE EVERY FACE LOOKS THE SAME!!!
Stan Lee, Joe Q and Avi Arad should say "Look, this storyline was written and drawn by someone COMPLETELY un-affiliated with Marvel comics" (yes, that would be a lie, but I for one would want to believe in the lie...), and then go ahead and find some TALENTED artists/writers to do Wolvie some justice.
Pulling out some heavy names, and say "hey, this is how they relate to wolvie: He was cruel to them..." just isn't enough...
lastly, and some of you MAY not want to read this: the Carbonadium synthesizer...
Making that a "huge" piece of the story line really ruined it for me, because where I come from, Carbonades are a CHEAP (I'm talking I'm-to-poor-to-eat-it-with-buns-and-ketchup type cheap) hamburger-substitute... (probably just a regional thing, but IMO not a fantabules part of the story arc...
And how many clones/children/brothers are Wolverine going to have???
If they do the spideman-clones thing with Wolvie, I'm gonna be seriously pissed of...
And just in case theres any doubt: I'm talking about the on-going Origins series, not the six-issue Origin mini-series...
