Since this is coming out very soon, Apple just put the trailer up, and Kaeos started a thread about the movie in the Sci-fi forum.....I thought I'd post the trailer in here.

damn that does look cool... kinda like a cross between our Godzilla and all those lame dragon themed movies that came out on Sci/Fi over the past 3 years only with a much higher budget..... I just hope that the theater going audience hasnt been burned out on "dragons" from Sci/Fi's movies... theres not so many of them now since they switched over to bugs and giant snake movies.

I gotta say, I really do like that they're using many different dragon creature designs instead of sticking with the standard Dungeons and Dragons "RED" or Gold type like the ones from Dragonheart and Reign of Fire!! those have been done to death.

I'd never even heard about this until I caught the trailer when I was putting money in the till the other day. I tend to miss a lot of things by not having cable. :Dunno: I think it looks awesome, but I don't like the dragons being evil. It bothers me.

I think there are "good" dragons and "bad" dragons.

All I'm expecting from this is a poorly acted monster movie with fairly good special effects. I doubt it will get good reviews anywhere.

you mean AICN ..right?
personally I hate that site and wouldnt trust a word they call "news" AICN is sorta the tabloid variety of news media.
actually the three sites I hit are Mania (duh), Joblow.com and Darkhorizons.com

Perhaps, but that was a review. It is what it is.

I'm late to the party, but I've been watching this.
The FX are surprisingly good. Longbow Apaches vs. giant snake = very cool, much getter than Apaches vs. Remade Godzilla.

My problems (so far) are entirely with the story. Damn, it's bad. I mean, really bad. Characters do stupid things, believe stupid shit, and what the hell. How did the cops figure all this out? Why'd it take the military (or the cops for that matter) so long to twig onto the fact that there's a giant goddamned snake loose in whatever the hell city this is? It's frigging HUGE! Like wrap itself around a skyscraper from the bottom to the top huge...with room to spare.
