Has anyone out there ever heard of The Monster of Phantom Lake? I Netflix'd it and I actually really liked it. It was kind of a spoof of old 1950's monster movies kinda like Lost Skeleton but kinda different. Like, it seemed more seriously trying to recreate those old movies instead of "lovingly making fun of them." That and there were like Stargate references through the entire thing.

Never heard of it..
Please tell me, with a great name like Captain Euphoria, you're not a effing spammer?
It seems a waste to ban you and ruin such a good name.

Nope, not a spammer. I'm a serious fan of old movies who's wondering if anyone's ever seen the movie. Apparently, no one has. I swear to you, I found it on Netflix. Look it up yourself!

Alright, I will...I'm relieved to see the name won't be wasted on a spammer too. I'm assuming this was a direct to dvd release since it's poking fun at the old school 50's era of monster movies.

I'm assuming it was direct to DVD too because I'd never heard of it before I found it on Netflix. It was very spoof-ish but not quite so blatant as in Lost Skeleton, which was an obvious comedy.

Except you made the fucking movie. *sigh*
S'what I get for trying to be nice...

Yes, I did. I apologize for this thread. I originally started it basically to see if ANYONE out there had ever heard of my movie without blatantly saying "I made a movie! Anyone seen it?" Again, apologies. I thought the "ever heard of" tactic would work. It really didn't.

No, it doesn't because it's obvious that the poster is associated with the film in some way or is a paid shill. I much prefer someone being honest and saying, "Hey, I'm a small filmmaker, and I'm awfully proud of this little thing I created, and I'd be pleased if you'd check it out. It's even on Netflix!"
That's why I was willing to cut you a break in the Trailer Park. Note the past tense.

Lock this thread too. In fact, please erase my threads. I totally deserve it for my horrible behavior.

Oh, no, we don't erase evidence of bad behavior here. Let this serve as an object lesson on how not to tell us about about your movie. Thread locked.
