Ahhhhhhhh the legend that is Hard Gay. I love his episode where he goes to help out the struggling noodle bar FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
I've never tried typing "Hard Gay" into a search engine, they really should have thought about giving him a slightly different name

Why not take a trip on Hello Kitty airlines? (http://www.ouatic.com/hellokittyair/)
I used to know the link to the actual Hello Kitty website that was dedicated solely to the air service. The insanity broke my brain.

Fearing Escalating Crime, Japanese Fashion, according to one designer, takes a turn for the Non-Confontational: A skirt that becomes a fake vending machine as camoflauge! (http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9B07E5DE133EF933A15753C1A9619C8B 63)
Fearing Crime, Japanese Wear the Hiding Place
By MARTIN FACKLER
Published: October 20, 2007
On a narrow Tokyo street, near a beef bowl restaurant and a pachinko parlor, Aya Tsukioka demonstrated new clothing designs that she hopes will ease Japan's growing fears of crime.
Deftly, Ms. Tsukioka, a 29-year-old experimental fashion designer, lifted a flap on her skirt to reveal a large sheet of cloth printed in bright red with a soft drink logo partly visible. By holding the sheet open and stepping to the side of the road, she showed how a woman walking alone could elude pursuers -- by disguising herself as a vending machine.

One problem with that disguise though. What if the perp decides he's hungry and tries to put a quarter (or is it Yen?) in the slot. :eyebrow:

The nice thing about the Japanese "plastic food" that you find in front of many restaurants is that the food you get inside actually looks nearly exactly like what the plastic version promised (minus the floating forks, natch), unlike many restaurants in the US where the food you get looks nothing like the picture in the menu.

This is a chew counter. Apparently, it is supposed to encourage kids to chew their food better. It plays a little jingle after every 30 and 1000 chewing motions.
