No Quarter - As puffy as Plant and Page are, the music shines through.
Cudos to Plant for being big enough to rearrange some vocals and bring in a woman with a beautiful voice to help with higher range stuff. Page is more disciplined, stylish and energetic than he is in concert videos from the uber Zepplin era.
What is cool to watch is the studio drummer (Michael Lee) hired for this project. He's just a young guy (25 at the time). On every song he's giving it and looks genuinely happy. He's basically telegraphing ...."Holy crap! I'm playing with Jimmy Page and Robert Plant." Checked his bio - he also played with The Cult and a redux version of Thin Lizzy.
