I wanted to start this thread because I've been trying to get Adam into the series and also getting Travis, who only watched off & on to become fully addicted to the show.
I thought those of us who are already fans could discuss the show with them. They are both at varying points in Season two - I believe Adam just started it and Travis is somewhere in the middle.

I've actually yet to start. Just received it yesterday. Will start at some point after our whooptydo this weekend.
To tell others what I told you...I enjoyed the hell out of 4 of the 12 season one episodes, was indifferent to probably six of them, and hated two.
I've had worse ratios.
Onward to better things now, I hope.

4? Well, I think that's more episodes than I enjoyed out of the first season.

Me too.
Season 3 is when I started to love the show. The Mayor rocked. :D

I keep telling Adam that it gets better during season two and there's a point (no one tell him what that point is!) where he'll go "What the fuck?" and wonder if it's the same show he saw during season 1. The show completely changes feeling during season 2.

Actually, I went back and recounted.
I really liked three episodes. "Nightmares" "Prophecy Girl" and "Angel"
I kinda dug the Invisible Girl episode too. I hated "The Pack" (yeah, that's right. bring it on.) and the premiere episode (ditto)

I sooooo disagree with you about "the Pack." It's one of the best episodes - plus, it gives Xander great character development.

Seasons 2 and 3 are some of the best television out there -- and then Angel as well.
I mean, how can you be ambivilent about a really hot chick who likes holding phallic symbols? And there's the matter of those push-up bras in the first few seasons...

I keep forgetting to post this info about what Joss Whedon had to say about a feature film involving Spike that he's working on getting financed. Read it here:

That sounds really cool to me , Spike was a teriffic & a completely underated character! Most of the series wouldn't of flew at all if it wasn't for james marsters portrayal . .

But this Woderwoman deal? We'll see . . .

Almost to the point in the show where I'll be watching the "What's My Line?" episodes from Season Two.
Actually, I'm exactly at that point, but I've been taking a break to overdose on Gilmore Girls (the third season is fantastic!) lately.
Just in case anybody cared to check up on me. :D
