Breaking a bit of the Kayfabe around here. There are a few times when a story will transcend the medium its posted in, sometimes even becomming larger than life itself. The Comics Industry has always fashioned itself as somewhat of a family. Now a team of 26 artists and writers have come together, to pay tribute to a young man who inspired to become one of them.

Last summer Sam Loeb, son of Superman/Batman and Upcoming Ultimates writer Jeph, passed away after a 3 year battle with cancer. Sam had written a bookend script to his Fathers Superman/Batman run, which would be a story about Robin and Superboy.

In the days, weeks, and months since Sam's death, a bevy of artists and writers volunteered to help bring his "Dream" to life. Geoff Johns, Allan Heinberg(The OC, Young Avengers), Joe Casey(X-men), Tim Sale(Long Halloween), Jim Lee, and Joss Wheden, among many others, have contibuted their talents to this story.

DC comics, Several retailers, The Artists and writers, are all donating proceeds from the book, to a scholorship fund in Sam's name. Please take a moment to look at the articles, and possibly purchase a copy of the issue when it hits stores.

Finally, Jeph Loeb has this message he would like to pass along:

"Thank you so much for asking how you can help.

"Your tax deductible donation to THE SAM LOEB COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP FUND, no matter how large or small, will be put to use creating a $10,000.00 award each year for one student who attended Sam's High School (North Hollywood High) and is going to college after their Senior Year.

"Please send your donation to:
