So yeah, I'm being sent away on a training course next month for a sum total of four weeks to Abu Dhabi. If anyone has ever been there or anywhere else in the UAE I would love to hear what it's like before I go. I'm totally naive about local customs and things and am positively worried I'll offend the locals or something.
Sidenote: When I voiced these concerns with one of the offshore guys (who has been literally everywhere) and said "So, what are the rules over there?" His first line of thought lead him to reply:
"So it's a hooker you're wanting then yes?"
