It's that time of year again! Here's a thread for all the pictures from your Halloween get-togethers, including costumes, decorations and of course, drunken idiocy. Let the revelry begin!
I'm going to a party tonight, so I should hopefully have some pics up tomorrow! I went to a party last weekend (sorry no pics), but the best costume there was a guy who dressed up as a box of wine with a real working tap on the front!

I may have said it before, but it bears repeating; you're pretty damn hot, KV. Knowing that you drive stick means I've at least got a shot while those humans with boobs ain't gettin' no touch.

I'm actually quite fond of boobs. Although, honestly, if they were ever presented to me, I'd probably just bat at them like a cat with a piece of string for a while then lose interest. Go find me some nice hard man pecs. :eyebrow:

Had my Halloween concert yesterday ... it went pretty well, and considering I've had the sniffles and a scratchy throat all week I think I look okay. And the outfit looks fab--well worth the time I spent sewing it.
Here's the full getup:

Here's a little more close-up, so you can see the details. I should have gotten a Cleopatra wig, I can't do straight hair.

You'd fit right in with SCA voyeur......especially if you "made" that outfit yourself. They are really into making your own stuff......and Negs, thats fantastic......especially because "YOU DID MAKE IT YOURSELF".......you'd prob be a shoe in for SCA as well.

Old Age!!!:)
I dressed up as a pirate for work on Wednesday, but there are no pictures. It really wasn't that much fun to work in, though, as the corset kept cutting off my oxygen, the sword kept bumping into things, and my billowy pants were in danger of sliding off at all times (had the belt on my hips for the sword, instead of in the loops). I made it through, and everyone gave me a good AAAAARRRrrr! (As well as good tips )

Here's my decorations for Halloween night. There were speakers hidden behind the tombstones playing scary sound effects. All I was missing was a fog machine. Apparently a few of the really young kids were too scared to come to the door and had to be dragged up by their parents!

Technically I still am, another few months. The legal working age here in BC is 12... so...
That was after the lighting focus... I would say I never want to do that again, except that's my career choice.
Now how's this for fun... first let me say most theatre electrics is done up an a-frame ladder. If you don't know what that is... it's a ladder shaped like an 'A'. Some, most of those found in theatres have a vertical, like an antenna sticking up the top of the A.
http://www.allrightladder.com/specia11.gif
Something like that... or exactly 550-16.
So there I am on our wonderful raked stage, on a twenty degree angle, clinging to that vertical portion with my legs, and attaching a light about as heavy as jake's bits would get if he hadn't released himself in a few months(1)(2), which is very much a two handed operation (attaching the light not jake's releases), to a pipe thirty feet in the air.
Repeat that thirty times, then I have the pleasure of going back up and grabbing the light (while it is turned on and heated to a jabillion degrees(1)) and pointing it somewhere. Repeat that thirty times.
(1) Numbers rough(3) estimations, not to be taken truthfully.
(2) Unlikely to happen, numbers subject to theory only.
(3) Rough is used in a very, very loose context.

1) Never, because I'm still alive, a thirty foot vertical drop is usually fatal. Although to be fair, the ladder is USUALLY on a non-raked surface.
2) It's made of wood, the picture is in black and white.
