Shit. All the best entertainers are now either dead or on their way. Goulet was one of them. I saw him when the Broadway production of South Pacific traveled in the mid-80's. I had homework due the next day and knew I was in for it if it didn't get done but we had tickets and that was that... my parents made me go. To this day, I'm not sorry I caught hell the next day. The guy left an indellible impression on me; that night is crystal clear in my mind. He was a great performer and will be sorely missed.

I saw a production on that tour, too. I can never think of "Some Enchanted Evening" sung by anyone else.

He had recently done some very funny commercials for nuts or something.

He will be greatly missed.
