you uh... you DID get the new four issue mini-series for Buckaroo....right Nost? I did... most of the covers were shit but the books were ok. It didnt really translate well into comic form unfortunatly though.

rather than a prequel, I would still rather have 1) a proper sequel, (with a new cast) for BB VS: World Crime League or the proposed FOX TV series...

this is my view, if we can relaunch Battlestar Galactica 20 years after the fact... we can relaunch Buckaroo Banzai again.... Petter Weller is bald now (I think permanently) they might be able to get SOME of the original the cast back....but why? recasting would be the only way to go.

if remaking BB is the only way to get a damn sequel greenlit then i'm all for that too.

I'd like to see some of the old gang together.
Weller is losing his hair but he's still in shape - and a good actor.
Clancy Brown will be tres cool until they put him in the ground.
Ellen Barkin is stunning. She is frozen in time and it ain't botox. I have to take an extra blood pressure pill whenever I see her. :eyebrow:
Lithgow and Christopher Lloyd I can take or leave.

have you seen the DVD with the special intro where Jamie Lee Curtis plays mother to a very young Banzai? actually thats one of the best produced DVD's I've ever seen... it has lots of specials on it... good specials ...even features the fake comic book cover that was used in the movie in pencil stage and black and white stage... plus I think some covers from the Marvel Comics Buckaroo series!

...and there are 5 easter eggs too.

I would presume that it would be an all new cast. Besides Goldblum's character wouldn't be in a prequel. Other than that ...YEAHHH BABY!
