Hasn't she been getting shit for years from the community for not coming out? I could have sworn there was some quotes from one group or another in GLAAD for her being so gunshy about it..I think that quote was on E! last year or the year before.

I can confirm that. My cousin, who is also a lesbian, shared a limo with Latifa in 1998. She was very open, my cousin said.

About 15 years ago, a sorority sister of mine came back from a summer in San Fran and mentioned this. She said, "Oh, she's very open about it." I've not heard a word confirming it before or since.
