Gemma Arteton, who plays the head girl in the new St Trinians movie, texted a friend to say "I got the Bond part!".
Not sure at this stage what role she will play.

CBn has it as "probable," but look, she's not necessarily THE Bond girl. She could be, y'know, a Kimberly Jones type.

Moneypenny ?
Or was she not in the script again ?

I don't think we know about Moneypenny yet. She seems the type and a commenter over at my blog (http://ultimatejamesbond.wordpress.com) makes a compelling case.

If it were a girl, I would marry it !
If it were a dog, I would let it curl up on a rug in front of my fire !

News just in ! Villiers, the character who was M's assistant in CR, is not returning. The actor who played him has confirmed this.
This could pave the way for a new assistant..... Second Officer in the Women's Royal Naval Service, one Miss Jane Moneypenny ????

Oh, God, I hope not. I mean, yay if they bring Moneypenny back, but BOOO if they turn her into this new character from these new novels.

Nah, no way she's the main girl. Too young and too sweet-looking. A woman doesn't necessarily have to be older to have depth, but I'm not seeing any from this one. I agree, Moneypenny is far more likely.
