Just saw the trailer and I can't wait for this movie! I hope they post up the prologue from the IMAX I Am Legend release. There are a few crappy versions on youtube....but I would like to see it in HD.

Why does it seem like Ledger has the same neck affliction as David Caruso on CSI Miami?

It still looks cool.

Saw this on the big screen yesterday. Then I had to ask for a mop to wipe up the huge puddle of drool that formed beneath our seats.

I need to see of either of the Air & Space Museum IMAX theatres (the only two in the DC area, can you believe it!?) are showing I am Legend.

Ok, I’ve got to admit that I was one of those people who couldn’t see Heath Ledger as the Joker, not that I have anything against him (all I’ve seen him in was First Knight), but I just thought that Crispin Glover would have been perfect. I still think Glover would have been good, but I’ve got to admit that it looks like Ledger has nailed it.

I’m really looking forward to seeing this next summer.

Yea, the trailer gave me goosbumps and my GF hates these kinds of movies but even she turned to me and said we have to fucking see this!

I will be there....and I was also not to sure about Ledger...but after fully seeing this preview, I have no reservations. Just from the previews, for me anyway, he passes Nicholson by a mile. This was the joker I always pictured in my head...Fucked up!

Oh my mother-f'ing god.

Can Nolan please direct every comic movie ever to be made? Can we retro-actively have him do X-Men 3? Please??? Can you imagine if he had control of the Dark Phoenix Saga???

So good.

The trailer actually gets better for me after repeated viewings. It really should be coming out like in a next few days dammit.

Queen Mae... why X-Men 3? Clone him and put Nolan on Batman 3 and X-Men 4

i hope heath Leadger survives this flick as the joker so we can see more Joker in future flicks.... hopefully they learned their lesson not to kill off Batmans super villains after the first flick....or ever.

Scarecrow is still running around. The lesson might be learned.

If this is half as good as the trailer then, with the first film, these are THE definitive Batman films and haveeasily blown the dull Burton films and sequels away.

I was 9 when Burton's Batman came out and loved it. I thought I still did until I saw it recently. I love BB, and I already accept Nolan's version of the franchise as the definitive version. I'll say that even before seeing the sequel.

Queen Mae... why X-Men 3?

Because the Dark Phoenix Saga deserved to be... well... a saga.

Although I did enjoy the Cyclops death - he's a putz and was happy to have Mr. GoodyGoody off my screen.

Sorry for being so off topic - back on topic - I am in love with the way Nolan & the rest envisioned the Joker. They've made him real and human and completely 100% psychotic.

Although did they have to make Heath Ledger's hair look so ... grody?

Ah well, as long as I can gaze upon Mr. Bale I care not what they've done to Ledger.

Yeah....I think it's the best they could have done to make such a pantomime looking villain realistic in this new grounded context that these films have gone for (which ironically almost make the then darker and more realistic Burton films now look almost as comic strip as the TV series in comparison).

Yes Mckracken, the vid has been taken down.... I knew it would get taken down eventually, hence the "see it before it's gone" comment. If you weren't out living in it up in the real world you could have seen it....but NOOOOOOOOO.

Don't worry though puddin....it'll be posted back up, Warner will have it taken down, and we'll do it all over again.

Utterly the tits.

Now, I still love Batman 89 (hate Returns and always have, as it was less about Batman and more about Burton's goth fixation). I'm unusual, in that I LIKE Batman Forever (but hate B n R, IMO, both directors' second films have the same flaw, less about Batman's world and more about that director's kinks).

But at last, a sophomore Batman film from a director who doesn't forget it's not about him, it's about the BAT.

Can't wait...
