I was underwhelmed. All of the quick cuts and twisting images didn't pique my interest, nor did they give me much information about the premise. Only the homage to Poltergeist gave me a snippet of info -- bad mojo is coming from the tv.

[edit]Apparently I was watching the teaser. The trailer is much more interesting. Looks like there are some elements from King's "The Cell," but it certainly seems interesting enough to check out.

Interesting premise for sure…I agree with the Stephen King reference.
I also like that it's not starring Depp or some other big name.

I'll probably check it out.

Okay. The only posts you make are about this movie, so clearly, you're associated in some way with the film. I wish you'd be up front about it instead of being a green, leafy organism. It pisses me off.

Despite my displeasure with flamingtomato, I went ahead and watched The Signal. The premise certainly does have a lot in common with Kings Cell novel. I mean, a lot.
And yet, I really liked the movie quite a bit. It's told in three vignettes, from three different perspectives. The first vignette is pretty dark, the second one is very funny, and the third is, bits of both with some extra scares thrown in.
Sure, we've seen lots of zombie-ish or world gone mad movies lately, but this one is pretty interesting. If you're a fan of the genre, you won't regret adding it to your Netflix queue.
