Anyone even try this year? :D Even if it's a lame attempt at improving your life and you fail miserably (I failed on most of mine last year, but after about six months) I think they are worth it. Mine:

1. Quit smoking. I quit for six months and came back, but now is as good a time as ever to try again. I start today...

2. Get in better shape.

3. Eat better. Probably will help with #2.

4. Watch less TV and read more.

5. Not be discouraged if I fail with #1-4 and keep trying.

1. Learn how to ride bike uphill.

2. Lose weight/get in better shape.

3. Do well in classes I have no reason to do poorly in, even if I hate them.

4. Do something about living in the dorms next year.

5. Find a way to enjoy my job.

I resolve to let him try.

I am going to try to have more fun. I am going to be silly if the mood strikes me and stop hanging out with people that bring me down. I am going to be less negative. I am going to find a job that pays better. I am going to enroll in Gaelic classes in the fall, simply because I want to learn it.

I am not changing a thing. Fuck 'em if they don't like me. :)

The wifey asked me this the other day. I answered quite simply that this year, I refuse to fail at anything. I will build on the success's I had in 2007.

I don't do New Year's resolutions. If January 1 is such a fine day to change your life, why isn't May 21st? Do something when it strikes you that you should, not because every other greyhound is blasting out of the gate at the same moment and you have at least look like you care about the race.

I'm not doing this as a New Year's thing. I've been working on this stuff for the last few months.

my ongoing efforts are ongoing , and they are continuing on schedule and ...they...:headscratch:

That is to say that they are .... :headscratch:

Well, sort of, anyways. :ohwell:

But more than likely, the ongoing is to be ...to be... uhh...

:Dunno:

So far so good.

I've wanted to see Phantom of the Opera since middle school, and I did that last month.

I've wanted to see an Admirals game since, well, as long as I can remember. I did that last Saturday. In a suite. It was pretty fucking awesome.

I told my loser friends off. I told them I am sick of listening to them whine about each other, when they should be trying to fix their issues. (Sounds like they are actually doing something, but we'll see...)

So far, so good. I already feel better 2 weeks into '08 than I did probably at any time last year.

My resolution to start eating better is going nowhere (predictably), but I'm getting solid enough on my bike to start without several attempts, and I don't have to walk it across intersections. I just wish I didn't live on top of a hill.

My new year resolutions is to help the poor people by giving food and money. Also love all the people who hate me.
