Nice! Too bad that, thus far at least, I'm not terribly impressed by any of the potential successors.

Not suitable for a bumper sticker, but appropriate nonetheless:

"The major problem - one of the major problems, for there are several - one of the many major problems with governing people is that of whom you get to do it; or rather of who manages to get people to let them do it to them. To summarize: it is a well known fact, that those people who most want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it. To summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job. To summarize the summary of the summary: people are a problem." - Douglas Adams

I thought it was just a problem of the only people getting to run for president are the filthy rich and grossly incompetent.

Some of them are funny, but aren't the Bush-bashing ones sort of obsolete?
Unless you are one of those tinfoil hat guys who think he's going to deny the next election and declare himself emperor, Bush is basically a lameduck for the rest of this year.

Yeah, just like he is trying to save face by asking OPEC to put out more oil.

Proven oil reserves in western Canada are second in the world behind those of Saudi Arabia. Now I ask ya ... who needs OPEC? N

Why? So all you mooseblowers can assfuck us instead? ;)

I say we make them actually drill all the leases in the Great Plains they picked up for a dollar per acre in the 90's with the understanding that they would actually drill them for oil.

How about a selection of Huckabee stickers for '08?

Huckabee: "I have opponents in this race who do not want to change the Constitution. But I believe it's a lot easier to change the Constitution than it would be to change the word of the living God. And that's what we need to do is amend the Constitution so it's in God's standards rather than trying to change God's standards so it lines up with some contemporary view of how we treat each other and how we treat the family." "Is America ready for its very own Ayatollah? You Betcha!"

ok so who you votin' for Bill? Unfortunatly for me I'm forced into voting Republican this election. also dont hold being a Republican against me, I wouldnt want to be a Democrate either...(note that i have considered voting against my own party in the main brawl later on...)

I don't know. I haven't been very impressed by anyone I have seen. I would say Obama, but I am not necessarily Democrat. But the way many people behave that identify as Republican... I'd rather be burnt at the stake.

Both parties have been taken to such opposite extremes that there isn't any difference to them at all.

It may just be easier to move to another country.

I ended up voting in Michigan's Republican primary yesterday, because half the Democratic candidates took their names off the ballot and the delegates won't be seated anyway. It gives you an idea about the quality and effectiveness of my state's government. The one time the Democrats and Republicans can actually agree on something, the net effect is to rob our primary votes of having any meaning. No wonder we're going to hell in our very own handbasket.
