What Are Your Chances of Surviving a Zombie Apocalypse? (http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/zombie) I had a 51% chance of survival. I'd do better if I had a gun in the house, more food, lived in a less populated area, and got past this irrational attachment to my family.

I'm at 49%. If I were in a house and allowed to obsessively stockpile emergency materials (which I do now in the form of having giant purses full of random things) I'd do a bit better, but I still wouldn't have a gun in the house. (Everyone knows small grenades work better on zombies anyway.)

I've been trying to devise a simple yet effective way to remove zombie heads enmasse without using any bullets, since given the Dawn of the Dead remake scenario, with literally tens of thousands of zombies... having enough bullets and getting THAT many headshots is impractical. I thought about a spring loaded piano wire or a cable pully system that would trip and behead a bunch of zombies. Sure it wouldnt stop them but they arent much of a threat if they dont have a head.

I don't own a gun. But, I know how to use one. I can even load my own 12 guage shells if needed.

It’s not enough to remove the Zombie head’s; you have to destroy the brain. Otherwise you’ll have all these Z heads biting at your ankles.
