Before this get's moved to the celebrity forum, I would like to make a plea to our uber-efficient moderator that it stays here as this could be a much wider topic for discussion than just the untimely passing of Heath Ledger.
Apparently the Westboro Baptist Church, that hate group that turn up at soldiers funeral's waving placards, are going to pickett Heath Ledger's funeral because he played a homosexual in Brokeback Mountain!!!! WTF ?? Seriously, they have put out a statement saying something along the lines of "That Pervert is burning in hell and we will pickett his funeral!". The absolute as*holes ! Who the hell do these people think they are ?
Two things:
1) Where the hell are these people to be found? Let's go and picket them a while and see how they like it ? Just a thought....
2) I would love to see them try if Heath Ledger is buried in Australia, they will get pasted.

If there's not bigger proof that there's not a vengeful god, it's the fact that these raging assmunching fucktards haven't been hit by a bolt of lightning yet.

They'll get kangaroo stomped when they least expect it. N
"Judge not, lest ye be judged." I don't tell the Big Guy what he's thinking. I don't tell the Big Guy what to do. I don't think He likes that sort of thing.
With that said, I think the Iron Sheik needs to "humble" these people. They're being dicks to Heath's memory and family.
Why don't they picket Al Pacino? He played the DEVIL! A bisexual cowboy is worse than Satan? WTF?

Did they picket George Burns funeral? He played both God and the Devil in the same movie.

Frankly, from what I've read online, WBC is nothing more than a family of lawyers(most of whom have been disbarred), who take an outrageous stance, and then sue whenever their rights are trampled by authorities or private parties.
Do they actually believe God is blowing up American soldiers with IEDs because America is too liberal on homosexuality? I don't know, but I do know that if anyone ever assaults them or attempts to prevent them from protesting, they get sued quicker than a shit after mexican food night. They also supposedly make sure they don't do anything that could be considered slander or libel.
Are they Grade-A, attention-whoring, jizzrags? Definitely.
Do they have a right to be? Unfortunately, yes.

Gays, Blacks, Jews, other Christians, the United States, they pretty much hate any one who isn’t a member of their church. They are a pretty sick bunch.

Honestly, when I hear of groups like this, I have to wonder if they even work for God at all. I think they work for the other guy *cough, you know, down there* trying to screw the reputations and perceptions of Christians. They are not following the teachings of Christ people! Heath Ledger was the man and his death shocked and upset me, which is rare for someone I never met or knew personally.

if they are not following God, and have been dismissed by all Christian Baptist denominations, then they are in fact a Cult. (not the Blue Oyster kind, the Koolaid drinkin' kinda Cultists)
Revelations is pretty clear there will be a lot of groups claiming to be of one Christian denomination or another, claiming to be followers of God, Christians, or Baptists when in fact they do more harm than good to the name of God and the Christian faith...
The WBC is a Cult, "a false Christian religion calling itself 'Southern Baptist'" working on their own agenda for their own purposes.

The simplest obvious solution would be to expand the Patriot Act to take away their rights.

DON'T YOU DARE!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously though..... I would love to see the same kind of fate for these poor inbred Jeds as we saw for the Branch Davidians.
People like the WBC group make people like me abhor religion and the fanatics it creates.

These people clearly do not work for God. They are a bunch of hypicrates that are only using His name to further thier political agendas or their right to simply be a bunch of a-holes. Anyway, I already mentioned what I thought about these freaks on another Heath Ledger post yesterday.

Then there's this A-Hole:
From IMDB.com
Gay Activists Blast Radio Host Who Mocked Ledger's Death
A U.S. radio host who mocked Heath Ledger's death live on air a few hours after his passing has been slammed by gay activists. During his Tuesday show, Fox News Radio presenter John Gibson played an audio clip from the movie Brokeback Mountain in which Jake Gyllenhaal's character says to Ledger's, "I wish I knew how to quit you." Gibson then told his listeners, "Well, he found out how to quit you." Later in the broadcast, Gibson played another Brokeback Mountain clip, this time of Ledger's character saying, "We're dead." The host then mockingly repeated, "We're dead," before playing the clip again. Gibson, who is on record as criticizing Brokeback Mountain as a "gay agenda movie," went on to label Ledger a "weirdo" who had "a serious drug problem" and speculated as to reasons why the actor may have taken his own life. Ledger, who was found dead in his New York apartment on Tuesday, is not thought to have committed suicide, according to authorities and his family. Rashad Robinson, a spokesman for The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), says, "Gibson's remarks are vulgar and disgusting. It's sickening that Gibson would exploit Heath Ledger's tragic death to promote such hurtful intolerance. And to do so at a time when family and friends are grieving shows a level of insensitivity that is beyond the pale." On his Wednesday show, Gibson refused to apologize for his comments, explaining they were just "a little Brokeback Mountain joke" and there is "no point in passing up a good joke."
Except there's nothing even remotely funny about this. What a douche.

Gibson is a frequent fill-in for Mr. No Spin. Because clearly, Gibson is also "fair and balanced." If being a "good American" means turning into a horrible example of a human being like those two, I'll not be a good American, thanks.

All I know is the Harley riders and such, the hard core and other bikers, block these assholes from screwing up vet and war dead funerals by holding up American Flags and using thier 'hogs' as an actual physical barrier.
From what I understand there is a group of bikers that watch WBC like a hawk and drive thousands of miles to intercept these asswhipes from interfering with the funerals.
I helped them at a local Iraqi soilder funeral. Both groups ran ads in the paper for days before the funeral. And the bikers had a much bigger turn out and shielded the family from the damned ********s.
My opinion is these idiots are on the same level as Al Queda.

Well, it's been reported here that the funeral will be held in Perth, Australia. I do hope the WBC try to intervene because I know the Aussies won't stand for any of that shit and litigation be damned, they'll lynch every last one of those cum-gargling jug-fuckers!
