I just got an offer from my leadership to stay here. My radio show is taking off and becoming such a phenomenon that they don’t want to let me go and are going to keep me around as soon as possible. I love being in Europe and this show is the closest yet I’ve come to running a show that I can call truly an expression of me.

So though it keeps me away from friends and loved ones for a longer time...I’d be crazy to give it up, if I’ve the option otherwise.

So..Germany, looks like you’ve got me awhile longer.

Not such a bad deal at all.

On a Mac, I know it's option + U + whatever letter. My French homework is mostly online, and if you don't know how to do the annoying little accent thingies in the answer field you get the whole question wrong. We've had to memorize everything except how to make the crazy German B.

There's a keystroke sequence on a PC, too, but all the little Help Entering Accents page tells me for the ä is "alt + 0228."
