NBC released their full schedule for next year. Doesn't look like a whole lot of new stuff, but I guess with the writers' strike they couldn't really create a whole bunch of new stuff.

One worrying rumor that I heard while in NYC over spring break was that the idea of canning SNL was being toyed with. A good friend of my best friend worked for SNL for a long time until they recently did some big cutbacks, so she was pretty close to the stories. I hope it's not true, can you imagine TV without SNL?

I guess criminal intent is back on cable?
They are sure pushing SVU?
Most schedule sucks, too much biggest loser & deall or no deal.
SNL should go off the air, its been around long enough
after 30 plus years its time.

So we get another season of "Lipstick Jungle," but no more "Journeyman"? Bastards.

And what is this about an "Office" spinoff?

I know. I miss "Journeyman!" No idea yet about the spinoff of "The Office." I think it has the potential to really suck. They really knocked it out of the park with the American remake, but that happens so rarely, I'm afraid this will end up looking more like "Joey," or worse, "Coupling."

At least we got a reasonable ending to the show. It could've been left on a cliffhanger -- just like
CLIFF HANGER! Hanging from a cliff
And that's why he's called Cliff Hanger!

Not good.

NBC Chief: SAG Strike Would Kill NBC

NBC would be unable to survive another industry strike, NBC Universal chief Jeff Zucker told an advertising industry meeting in Washington Monday. Zucker said that an actors' strike would not affect his company's Universal Studios business. "Our film business has prepared," he said. "But it would have a real impact on the TV business, and I don't think the economy or the TV business would be able to survive something like that." A strike by the actors could be "incredibly devastating" for the network, he conceded.

Bah. It's just Chicken Little raising his ugly little head. At worst, the networks would have to rely on reality TV 24/7 for a few months.

Yeah, NBC shouldn't have trouble finding enough contestants to put on "The Biggest Loser" 7 days a week. :p

Would anybody miss it if it was gone anyway?

I like watching the last 10 minutes just for the before and after pictures. Some of them you can't tell are the same person.

Maybe they're NOT! Maybe it's all a big conspiracy!!
