For whatever reason (maybe I despised the revisionist stuff they were pulling), I didn't watch it when it was on. i've since watched the full series, and...Ashley Scott has a tongue piercing! That's so goddamn sexy on her. Do you think she still has that outfit?

I'm probably one of the few that watched the series entirely.
It was cool, but I was sick to death of the Batman teases here and there, with no promise of seeing the Caped Crusader at all. Kind of like Smallville with no promise of seeing Supes in the cape and suit. Sucks.
What's worse was Ashley's smart-ass street attitude that was such a blatant copy of Dark Angel, it was horrendous. Aside from that, the show was decent. 5/10 score.

What really turned me off initially was the meta-human stuff. Catwoman was meta?! Huh? Plus, my understanding of Huntress (it's probably retconned history, though) is that she is a teacher and daughter of a mob boss. She has no superpowers, but also has no qualms about wasting people. I believe her weapon of choice was a crossbow pistol. I also liked the fact that she wasn't particularly attractive. The reworking of her history and that of Black Canary for the show really bugged me at the time, as did the fact that Bruce was so distraught over Selena's murder that he just up and ran away. That's so completely un-Batman that I couldn't let it go.

When I finally gave it a go late last year, I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't a perfect show, but it wasn't bad once I allowed myself to ignore the character rewrites, and Bruce turning into Chickenman.
