The Best Adaptations....

We need to hear from you folks. With Iron Man coming out in a few short days, we would like to hear what your favorite comic book movie is.

We'll count down your top 10 on The Unknown comic fan on May 4th.

What's eligible? If it was a comic book at one point.

STuff like 300, sin city, Transformers, and simpsons, in addition to all the superhero movies are eligible.

My favorite overall is Superman (1978).

It made the biggest impression on me by virtue of timing. It seemed to be the 'first' of the contemporary comic/superhero movies to come to the big screen.

I had often wondered if some foolish director would come along and make a superhero movie. Everyone knew at the time that there was no market for this genre on the big screen. So, God knew, it would certainly lose money and suffer critical butchery; but it would be fun (if only for a few short weeks.):ohwell:

I enjoyed the movie; but I had little hope for any superhero movies to follow!:lol:

Previously, it was Spider-Man 2 and Batman Begins in first and second slot. Iron Man has taken over #1 however. I have a feeling The Dark Knight will take #2.
