Clearly a setup episode and a pretty average one at that.

You can read my review herehttp://www.jonja.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=957

However, next week should be very good.

I liked it. Sure it's a setup episode.

For some reason this episode reminds me of a guy in a long drought going home with a coyote ugly chick at the bar. They could do so much better (than that planet). :D

A fine episode and I look forward to next week, but I do not like the return to Caprica.

The writers can tech it out that a Cylon jump is much longer than a Colonial jump, but the fact that that they can get back to Caprica as easily as someone can make a trip from NY to Philly undermines the show. They are a rag-tag fleet on the run, but apparently they haven't gotten very far. And why do they go back? Because Starbuck made a promise to someone? How do the other colonials who came from one of the 11 other colonies feel? I mean there must be survivors there, but I guess they don't count.

It looks like this season is going to end with Starbuck on Caprica, EXACTLY like season. The show isn't moving ahead. At least in regards to Caprica... Forget about Caprica! There is supposed to be a major turn of events in the season finale... hopefully, the writers will learn to leave Caprica, once and for all.

Starbuck promised she would come back for the people there, and that had to happen. Once they've been rescued, then there won't be any need to go back to Caprica, but they certainly had to do it. As for the other colonies, well no one has gone back to any of them, and the ONLY reason they went back to Caprica in the first place was to get that arrow. Caprica happened to be where it was, and finding the survivors wasn't part of any plan. But once they did, they HAD to go back for them. There may be some future episodes dealing with some of the other colonies, so don't just assume they've blown off dealing with that potential question.
