Hey, I wanted to know if anyone here had ever gone to Comic-Con in San Diego before?

I went when I was younger, but don't really remember that experience.

Some friends of mine are heading to Comic-Con to cover it and don't know what exactly people would like to see from coverage... They've previously only covered film festivals like Sundance, SxSW, and Tribeca.

I told them a knife fight between Storm Troopers and the TNG cast would be ideal... what are your thoughts?

there are a ton of song and dance numbers, apparently!

Is this you? http://youtube.com/watch?v=GlLSTwgDo-Y haha

Yeah, that's what I figured about coverage, I think I'm going to suggest that they just go and run with it...

I only get to go every other year.....cuz I live way up here in Oregon now. My first Con was 1977.......Wow, was that cool. Me an two buddies had a room at the El Cortez Hotel for 4 days. I remember seeing .....

Carl Barks.....
C.C. Beck....
Sergio Aragones......
and maybe Stan Lee....
and Jack Kirby.......I'm not sure if it was "that" year or a different one. I've been to about 17 or 18 of these things.

Anyways.....its a fantastic show.....and you need all four days to really get to see and experience it all. Its just that big.

Sorry Cracky.....I won't see you this year....but maybe 2009 !!!!

I think daForce is a regular......Is he still around here????
