an extremely cool youtube video that explains polarization and red vs blue and why a 3D picture looks blurry!!!

VERY COOL!!

surprisingly I've actually MET Andrew Woods a few years back at the Sterioscopic Displays tradeshows in Santa clara California and he was nice enough to keep me on his mailing list (I was only working a temp job as a door monitor but they let me show off my short 3D movies before a topic discussion had started (how cool is that?)

Andrew is SUCH a down to earth guy (geek at Heart) he remembered me from that show and keeps me in the loop as to the wheres and when's of the 3D tradeshow... this year is the BIG XX for them... 20 shows in 20 years!

ts partially true they are developping 3d for the home, when i was at the show a few years back, theres a Mitsubitshi TV flatscreen that displayed the images without glasses in a holographic effects (a virtual semi-circle, where the biggest effect was in the center of the screen)

so they are trying to do away with the glasses and go "holographic" display for your HD television screens.
