I got this news from CNet's Gamespot (www.gamespot.com). Apparently, the Wal-Marts is runnin' uh speshul deal for Joe Six-Pack. If youse goes out and buys one-uh 'dem new-fangled BLEW-RAYE players from the Wal-Marts, they's dun gonna give you a hunn'red dollar gif card! Shucks! Now this here news bees in 'da Games sekshun 'cuz the Playing Stashun 3 counts as a BLEW-RAYE player! Even the new one with Metal Gear Solid 4!

Anyway, sounds like a pretty cool deal. Unfortunately for me, I think the wife and kids have already maxed out the Father's Day budget, so I won't be enjoying one on Sunday. Thought I'd pass it along, though.

That actually is a good deal...I still am kind of scarred from going through a total of 4 PS2's....So, until the price drops or they come out with the next big gaming console...I think I will have to wait...:smirk:

Remember what a status-symbol it was when it first came out? I got lucky and found one when NO ONE had them, and felt like the coolest kid on the block.
