Are people being too sensitive? Or are these terms really racist?

Texas County official sees race in term 'black hole' (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,380143,00.html)

I never thought those terms were racist. A lot of things can be racist if you use them in that context. But I mean, c'mon, take the term 'black hole' for instance. It's a hole that sucks up all the light, and all we see is the color black....'black hole'. Do we need to be so politically correct that we stop using the colors white and black altogether just to please everyone?

You want to talk political correctness gone mad? Over here this week this little gem popped up:

'Toddlers who turn their noses up at spicy food from overseas could be branded racists by a Government-sponsored agency. The National Children's Bureau, which receives £12 million a year, mainly from Government funded organisations, has issued guidance to play leaders and nursery teachers advising them to be alert for racist incidents among youngsters in their care. This could include a child of as young as three who says "yuk" in response to being served unfamiliar foreign food' - The Daily Telegraph.

Holy fuck.

I wish everyone would stop being such a bunch of sensitive little babies.

Holy Zarquon! They found us out! Now we might as well stop hiding. All of the scientists will start calling it a "racist hole" and we'll eat "racist food cake" and...er..."racist food cake."

The "racist" gentleman who sits across from me just asked about the white hood I have sitting on my desk. I told him that it's my ninja hood. Since ninjas, though awesome, are bad, I didn't want to associate bad with black, so it's a white hood.

I hate McDonalds, therefore I must hate America right?

What a fucking bunch of bullshit.

I am going to need taller boots it seems.

If you hate America, are you still allowed to love McDonalds.

I completely want to fuck Charlize Theron eight ways to Sunday. Since she's African (and, consequently, African-American), does that mean I want to fuck all Africans? 'Cuz I'm pretty sure I might.

I. Am. So. Confused.

If I wind my ass or scratch my watch, who will I be hating?

Gawd I am going back to my old ways. I am going to hate everyone equally. It's much easier.

I don't follow local politics, but supposedly this guy is known for being a loose cannon and seeing racism at every turn.

That’s not sensitivity, that’s stupidity.

And there’s a lot of that going around.
