I know he's not a typical celebrity but he is an inspiration. It was inevitable that he would not beat pancreatic cancer but he made you believe that he already had. His "Last Lecture" at CMU and subsequent appearances on Oprah and Diane Sawyer.
Hell, I bet even Stark Trek will have some sort of dedication to him as he was given a small role in the new film.
