Bloody good point actually! I feel quite foolish now.

I just love this version for the crowd reaction. I found myself cheering along with them.

Holy crap that was freakin amazing! Tron is one of my all-time faves, I've been waiting forever for this. Glad to see Jeff Bridges is still involved. I'll definitely be there opening night!

that WAS quite cool.
Panals like that have up to a two hour wait to get in and i wasnt about to wait in a long line of bored ass people to see 3.5 minutes of tr2n ...even if it was cool.

is Bruce Boxlightner going to star?

Shit is awesome! And who cares if Bruce and Jeff are in it. I mean sure it"d be several degrees of awesome if/that they are, but when the first two minutes of footage released are that bad ass it doesn't matter if the Spice Girls are the stars. The movie will still tear shit up! :D This is like the ultimate nerd wet dream!

The only thing I'm worried about is the film being able to keep the unique look and feel of the first one. When Tron came out, it was the first film to use CGI, so it had a really different look from everything else. Nowadays, every sci-fi film uses CGI to enhance its look, so I'm worried about it getting shuffled into the "just another sci-fi computer flick". Still, that clip did look promising!

I must admit from what I could see that this did look pretty impressive. I was never a HUGE fan of the original but understood why it was admired by others. I have since watched the original and still feel the same; it was ok.....

But this looks good. With todays technology I can tell it is being put to some very good use. This is a movie that needs CGI and up to date software. You will not hear me bitching about the CGI in this film!:lol:

You're almost certainly correct, however it was the only thing I could think of to say to properly convey my jubilation at the footage we've seen.
