I hadn't heard of it until I saw this trailer, but Appaloosa is suddenly on my radar in a big way. It says it is based on a book, but I've never read it. However, just about any movie starring Ed Harris, Viggo Mortensen, and Jeremy Irons that also has Lance Henriksen in it will get my attention. The fact that it looks to be a kickass western is just icing on the cake. I'll just hope Renee Zellweger doesn't ruin things....
Incidentally, this is also the second film directed by Ed Harris, which is interesting. I've never seen Pollack, so I'm not sure about his directing skills. If they are anywhere near as good as his acting chops, then he should be a pretty good director. The trailer looks really good from a direction standpoint, so I'm definitely looking forward to this.
