BSG 4.5 SitRep

Have read several posts from DragonCon 08 - citing comments by Aaron(Tyrol) Douglas during one of the panels. He's saying 4.5 will air in APRIL 2009. That goes against comments by a SciFi suit during the summer .... The withdrawal symptoms are intensifying. :(

Great. It's not bad enough that I'm stressed because it's Lorien's first day of preschool. Now I get to stress about possible delaying of my BSG fix!

The sad thing is that I'm not at all surprised by this. I've been thinking to myself that Sci-Fi would delay the 5th season (because it is a new season, not a fucking second-half) until spring. I hate their marketing/programming staff and executives.

When the strike ended, we were told that the second half of S4 would air in 2008. That became "January '09," and now it's becoming April '09.

Well, SciFi has gone on record saying that Battlestar will still start in January. That doesn't mean they won't delay it again between now and then, but January is still the plan as of now.

Transiting to your new assigment, Tstone? Is this something you can tell us about? Or is it on a need to know basis, and we don't need to know? Or can you tell us, but then you'd have to kill us? Sounds very mysterious and intriguing to me.

Not so much. In May, my assigment in Europe is up and I'm headed to my next unit. I'm angling for Ft Hood, TX, but it could also be Ft Lewis, WA or Ft Bragg, NC. In between, I'm likely going to Airborne School.

When I get to my next unit, after Airborne and after my leave time, I'm probably going downrange, to Iraq or Afghanistan. I'll know more when all this finally goes down, which is not for several months yet.
