while using IE, (this appears to only happen at youtube.com) youtube is saying that my javascript is turned off and its not letting me see any embedded video content!!!

I have downloaded the new flash player repeatedly, rebooted IE, rebooted the system... same story each time, apparantly my javascript has been disabled (???)
i even reset IE back to the factory specs (that was an epic cluster-fuck) and STILL nothing.
HOW exactly do i check or turn on my javascript in IE?

Keep in mind, I already went to the TOOLS - OPTIONS - ADVANCED and checked the Java(sun) option box but it was already checked, so whre is this mythical javascript box and how do I turn it on?

Keep in mind that in FIREFOX, OPERA and FLOCK youtube works just fine.... :mad: :headscratch:

Same issue on IE and Google Chrome. Only Firefox is displaying vids correctly for me. So it's probably a youtube issue.

ah crap so i blew up IE and returned evething to the factory specs for NOTHING???

You may be missing the updated JRE plugin from Sun micro. See if that helps.

Try redownloading. As pointed above, you may have an older version.

nope, didnt work, after installing Java 6.7 youtube (on IE) still doesnt show the videos....but thanks Jarrod.

did you move or deleate that post in the 24 forum yet?
