What...no Force Lightning??? Your son seemed to be getting into it, for a minute there I thought he was going to finish you off by cutting you in half and shoving you into the abyss.
It's really nice that you two have a joint interest in the martial arts. How long did it take to get the fight scenes down pat?

We started thinking about the choreography in August of 2007, and sketched out the first set of moves. Then after our review board in February 2008, we really got down to work. It took us a couple weeks to finish the choreography, and we had about six weeks' rehearsal until the show in April 2008.
Of course, the double-saber work at the end was cribbed from a routine we'd been doing in class for at least a year, which is why it's smoother and faster than the staff on saber sequence.

Wow! You know, Negs, you really have a STRONG Midwestern accent! Let me guess: when referring to soft drinks (Coke, Pepsi and so forth), you say Pop, don't you...:eyebrow:

Hey now, "pop" is perfectly fine. I say it all the time...

Well, sure. So do I!
"POP goes the weasel."
"POP3 email account"
"Don't talk back to me or I'll POP you across the mouth"
But soft drinks need to be called something other than POP. It's just too Wisconsin. I'm from L.A., so I call them sodas. If pressed, I might even say soda pop. But not just POP.

I frequently say "soda" interchangably with "pop" or "sodapop." But at least I don't say "coke" when I mean "dr. pepper" or "mountain dew" or "root beer." That's just weird.
And my Midwest accent isn't that pronounced. I mean, I don't say "Wesconsin" instead of "Wisconsin," and I don't say "maysure" instead of "measure." Besides, I thought Midwesterners didn't have accents!
