seriously Jarrod... the Nielson ratings? I got to about the 25% mark after "a few minutes" of wasting my time... this survey is not about Mania, or how anything I suggest will improve my experience here or how you can understand me better. They want to know what car I drive, what electronic products I've bought and how much I'm spending... none of which pertains to Mania.com or "how my experience will be improved"

how can my experience be improved? simple. FIX THE SITE. Fix the login issues for starters, why cant I stay logged in?
why am I logged in on the main site but logged OUT when I come to the forums? why cant I log in to the forums while I'm logged in on the main site? Why must I log OUT to log back in again to post here?

why is the archive section a mess? Hell, that article Robert wrote about Childs Play 20th Ann dvd dropped off the main page and I couldnt locate it...anywhere... fortunately the search string found it... its not like anyone will post anymore comments though... seeing as how its been bumped into the nether regions of the 7th level of hell itself.

Is the attention span of the average mania blogger really limited to just shy of one week? (sometimes less?)

and they say the forums are where threads go to die... I beg to differ... really... at least I can locate threads quickly and easily here.

Gotta agree with McKraken, I've filled out plenty of 'informational surveys' in my time to know that that survey has nothing to do with Mania, and everything to do with a marketing survey.

I don't fill out marketing surveys. Not only are they a stupid waste of time, but they don't work for a web content site.

Instead of that survey, here's a nice suggestion...or request. With the most recent "infiltration" of noobs to the forums, it might be a good idea to reimpliment the "ignore" button. :)

the invasion of the army of the 12 noob monkeys is a direct result of Mania putting a big yellow MANIA FORUMS button firmly at eye level on the main page just like we asked them to do.

so you see son, we have only ourselves to blame for this invasion.

That's a really goddamned good question. Click on the User CP link up top and it'll take you to your UBB profile, which ain't the same as your mania.com profile. I still think the two should've remained separate. But what's done is done, and speaking of that, my finger's been up my ass for like an hour now. Do you think it's done?
