Emma, Henry, Peter and Warren

So my question is who will be making the cut in X3. With the problems of face time coming up already and the talk of adding new characters I want to know who will be added and who will be bowing out. I have already heard that Beast,Angel and Colossus will be playing a very active role. And that due to the involvement of the Hellfire Club Emma Frost might be joining the X-men by the end. This begs the question though, how are they going to fit all of the new and old X-men in?

Where'd you hear all this? They haven't even written a treatment yet. I mean X2 has only been out for two weeks.
The only rumors I heard are that, if Singer signs on to be director for the next one(which he's already expecting) he wants to include Angel, Beast, and Gambit. Which would satisfy a great deal of fans.
Beast, I think, is the most likely to appear since they did character designs for him for X2 that they never got to use.

Yes, I agree, I believe that the next logical choice to be showed in the franchise would have to be Henry McCoy (Beast). They gave us a glimpse of him in that little television interview thing as Henry, so you know that is only setting us up for when he shows up in the next film. Colossus, I'm REALLY hoping, is going to be shown A LOT. I'd also like to see exactly what they are going to be doing with Pyro, although I'm sure that we all know HOW he will be put to use! The Angel, I believe he will be on prominent display also.

Well,according to Wizard and Entertainment Weekly both Beast and Angel were supposed to be in X:2, Angels wings were already partially constructed (in a nice homage there is an x-ray of them in Stryker's lab) and Beast was supposed to be in both X:1 and X:2, but was cut due to budget. It is a fact that Colossus will be in X:3 because the actor who plays him has already signed a contract for another film. However the Emma Frost thing is just speculation. I also just recently read in EW that Halle Barry is quoted as saying "Im technically done with the X franchise." Due to her role being marginalized in both films. Which makes me wonder if Singer will even replace Storm if she doesn't come back. He does have many other strong females to choose from, may I suggest Psylock or Emma?

I would be fine with Storm leaving and a new X-Man coming on, I hope Colossus plays a bigger role and I would LOVE to see Beast and Angel, and I would mega love to see Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver join the brotherhood.

If its an all out war then there will be room enough for Emma Frost along Beast, Colossus, and for the fangirls they can throw in Gambit(apologies to fanboys who love the cajun). The way I see it there could be three groups, the x-men, the brotherhood, and the hellfire club. All of them are fighting for control of The Phoenix. The members of the Hellfire Club aren't that important anyway. Its not like they explained Toad or Sabertooth's abilities in the first movie, I don't see the need to setup an introduction to the members of the Hellfire Club in the next film. Just explain what the club is, which ain't that hard to understand. Its just a country club for powerful mutants who have money.

And you know what? They've made a TON of dough on this film already, that I think it's quite possible that they COULD include Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. And they could show how the two of them decide to go over to Professor X's school only AFTER they see the error of their way's from over at Magneto's Brotherhood. Add in Pyro as a Brotherhood member, an expanded role for Colossus, plus Angel AND Beast..... wooooo HOOO! I see a BIG franchise for year's to come boys and girls!

If you look close at the computer screen when Mysique is stealing the files you will see Wanda and Pietro Lenscher, another Xavier, I foget what Gambits name was but there was a frech sounding name, sorry I forgot it and there was also Franklin Richards.

Scarlet Witch, QuickSilver and the last would be the son of Reed Richards and Sue Storm.

Neither Quicksilver nor Scarlet Witch ever went by their father's name. They use Maximoff as their surname, and that's what was listed on the screen.

Yes, but, again, as I've opined in another one of these threads on this topic (CAMEOS, I guess), I wouldn't look so much into it. I believe that it was the filmmaker throwing names onto the computer screen during that scene for the sake of the fan's getting a thrill out of seeing their fav. X types and other Marvel characters. I really wouldn't put too much behind it. As I stated before, it's being done with a "wink wink" sort of tone to it. Just my opinion, though, can't state it for fact.

I think the Beast will be in the next picture, he will be in his blue form, and being the new scientist at the mansion, filling in for the missing Jean Grey, The movie will start with the X-Men back at the lake looking for Jean, The Professor being a telepath looked like he sensed she was still alive at the close of X2.

Will we finally see Gambit in the picture, could be? I think they will ask certain actors not to return for the next picture and bring some new actors in.

I like Emma Frost, but wouldn't she be redundant as an X-Man in X3? You'd have Prof X & Jean (if they resurrect her). Do you need another telepath?

I'd like Psylocke, but again - telepath. If you use the english version, most of the newer fans won't know who she is. IF you use the asian version, I think it's too close to Lady Deathstrike for a movie audience.

If they leave Storm out of X3, and if Jean isn't in it al the way, who would you have as female replacements?

Rogue's powers in the film don't have the 'flash' factor that Storm and Jean's do. Kitty could be developed more, but you'd still need a female with some more power.

Who are the female's from the comics that could be brought in to fill the gap?

Alright, now I've seen the movie 3 times and there is nothing that even remotely resembles the X-rays of Angel's wings in Stryker's lab. The only thing that comes remotely close (that people have been confusing Angel's wings with are the x-rays of Yuriko's hands and claws.) Trust me, there are no wing X-rays, I looked for them. . .nothing.

I heard on another website that Gambit would have a limited role in X3 if he was indeed in it. They said that his powers are to similar to Cylcops' and his personality is too similar to Wolverine's. Orlando Bloom is rumored for the role

im thinking they need to kick a cupple people out. storm for example can get gone and i wouldnt mind, casting changes always anoy me in sequals and we all know halle isnt coming back, good frikkin riddens i say. that would make room for someone else.

Yes, it would probably make room for someone to play Emma Frost (Estella Warren, by chance)? Or maybe expand on Jubille's role, or give even MORE thing's for Rouge to do. That would be cool, she just seems to get 1 or 2 scenes to do in the film to show off her powers a couple of times, and then they turn her into a damsel in distress, so I think that she should be given more to do in the next upcoming film.

I wouldn't put Emma in the as an Xmen i would have her on the botherhood movie. I would keep the rest but not do the whole kitty and Peter thing. As for Clossus in the earlier stadges of X3 they on IMBD had him down to reprise his role as Colossus then I heard that they were looking for a new Colossus (something to do with his agent I think) Then I read that one of the top Fox people said that people were so mad that Daniel Cudmore wasn;t coming back and since this is going on his fans decied to boycot the X3 unless they get DC back so Daniel Cudmore came back and he has a bigger role. I got this form another group its a chracter list about the characters:

Colossus:
Colossus has a much larger part in this film. He joins the X-Men with Kitty near the beginning of the film. He also is in the Danger Room sequence where he throws Wolverine during a fastball special at a Sentinel. Colossus metals up quite a few times and he fights Juggernaut in the final battle. Colossus is bisexual in the film and he has crushes on both Rogue and Wolverine. He acts kind of like a big brother towards the other students.

isn't Colossus Gay in the ulitment Xmen serise and he has a crush on Logan. werid huh.
