the storylines are great, the art work is ok, its like a wb prometime show but as a cartoon, which is the only way a x-men tv show can really be done
i hope apocalypse makes his debut next season

I know! The last episode of the second season had me running through the house! I was so psyched about the giant fight scene! It reminded me of the good old days of the last cartoon. It was so action packed compared to evolution. This season i want to see them really use their powers instead of, "oh, can't get your locker open? Let me get that." "thanks Kitty" I want them to grow into the x-men we know and love, but...its...going...so...slow...!

I haven't seen the commercial but from what you've said it sounds to me like the Shi'ar. It's just a hunch but seeing as the t.v. show hasn't explored the alien race they might be going into it at the start of the new season. Plus, I don't see how he could have "just vanished" into the Savage Land. However, he could have just vanished onto a Shi'ar starship with one of their transpoter beams.

Umm, I forget, in the most recent season, was the last episode the one with appearances by Gambit, Collossus, Pyro, Scarlet Witch, and all the mutants fighting the sentinel? That episode was great since that is the most I've ever seen them use their powers in the whole history of the show.

The people behind this show are geniuses! I was getting goosebumps from seeing so many X-Men on screen and in action. And the fact that they can fill that much action into a show while still working around the censors proves how much effort they put into it.

I love the whole rampage by the Juggernaut and his fight with the X-Men. It was just incredible. It was like watching a 30 minute movie with great special effects. IMAO this show has reached the level of Batman: The Animated Series and Batman Beyond.

This is the first cool version I've seen of cyke and he hasn't lost any of his leadership qualities at all. I also think this was the first time in the series that we saw him stand up to Wolverine.

I just wish the X-Men could have remained outlaws for a little while longer. That's how they were when I started to read the comic back in the late 80's.

Your in luck because yep he was. Go to www.kazaa.com (http://www.kazaa.com) and download the share software. Then you will be able to download the episodes of evo by sarching x-men evolution. And then you gotta download a codec (search "codec" and make sure it has all codecs (thanks again for the tip http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif)) to watch it. I don't know all the episodes he is in, but i know he is in both parts of "The Cauldron" and in a few more before that. Hopefully someone else can elaborate.

X-Men: Evolution costs more to make (that's why its so good) plus Anime cartoons don't really count. Shows like Pokemon and Yugi Oh were shown overseas years before airing on WB. Scooby Doo looks like crap, but I can't explain Jackie Chan because the animation is pretty good and it seems like they always have new episodes. Maybe it's because that show has the same dialogue every week, "Jade, you stay here"..."Aw, Uncle Jackie!"

Well I think the repeat they just showed had plenty of morality and still "kicked ass". Unfortunately they are back in high school and every week you're going to see the same stupid bullies pick on the poor super-powered mutants. Bah! It's not that I disagree with a high school setting but now that the secret is out you know what's going to happen everytime they go to school.

I'm sorry, but after the initial shock of seeing what the X-Men can do don't you think half the students would say, "Laser Beams! Damn that's cool!!"? My God, look at the success of MTV's Jackass or The Osbournes. Alot of younger people gravitate toward the strange and unusual, the freakish, the oddities of human nature. Damnit I want to see some non-mutants stick up for the X-Men because I believe that's what would happen in real life!

Sorry about the rant, but to summarize what I was saying, this show is only 30 min long(including commercials) and I don't feel the need to waste a moment of it in gooberville...er Bayville High School. Maybe it's because I got along with almost everybody in school and didn't enter into many conflicts (except with my grades!).

Well in reference to today's episode I have to quote Logan's line, "It's about time". Finally we get to see the bond between Scott and Jean that has been in the comics and the old animated series. The animation quality of this episode was incredible by television standards. Warner Bros has their own animation studio and I haven't even seen this level of quality in Justice League. Marvel should get the producers of X-Men Evolution to do animation for all their projects.

X-men:Evolution is one of the best shows on saturday mornings.I really don't care much at all for Pokemon,the judo journeys or Yu-gi-oh.X-men:E has a lot things that the FoxKids X-men did'nt have.For one X-men:E get new team members.The fox version just had guest stars like Iceman and Colossus and as y'all remember neither of them joined the team not that any of the X-men did'nt ask."Hey Iceman you wanna come chill with us at the mansion".Iceman's reply,"I don't like Xavier tellin' me what to do.Bye gang".Ice sleds away.X-mem:E has tons of guest stars and new recruits such as the new mutants of which Iceman has joined the lineup and many others.Story wise this series is definitely moving ahead.

X-men:Evolution was indeed new last saturday.In the episode you see Spyke dealing with his growing abilities as the Morlocks warn him of a threat that is revealed to him and his X-pals.SPOILER WARNING:At the end of this episode we see the X-men trying to get to Spyke in the Morlock tunnels.Spyke comes out and reveals to the X-men that he needs to take a break from the team and that the Morlocks are his friends.I'm assuming that he might come back but he is a made for t.v. character so the chances are probably a little slim.

I admit Spyke was never a great character and should not have been created in the first place but there's alot of hostility going on here. At least he was better than Morph from the Fox X-Men series. And even though I've read that Morph was a character in the comics, I had never heard of him until I saw him on the cartoon. Besides that, he still sucked way more than Evan did.

And being made for TV ain't all bad. Just take a look at Harley Quinn.

I'm not talking about powers, I'm talking character. And in my opinion Morph sucked more as a character than Evan did. Anybody who laughs the way he did is asking to die. But I'm tired of beating that dead horse cuz they're both gone.

Gambit or Colossus. I would guess Colossus, only because in his encounter with Wolverine it seemed like the only reason he was with Magneto was because there was no other choice. Gambit on the other hand does whatever he wants to. And I don't see Gambit hanging around a bunch of teenagers until Rogue gets a little older(hint hint).

I really liked the way Rogue used all the powers she's absorbed in this episode. And I don't know if you noticed but there was a little improvised "fastball special" with Iceman and Wolverine.

It feels like they are aiming for the season finale to debut Apocalypse but I would like to see him sooner.

I can agree with you on that one.Morph was a punk in the beginning.EX.In that same episode Morph is coming to terms with his fear of Sentinels and when a bunch of arrive at thr mansion to kidnap Charles,he starts to freak outand pee in his pants.The sentinels get away of course and Wolverine walks over to Morph and he says "I...I froze, Wolverine".Wolverine goes "Aw Morph".I could'nt stop laughing.At least Morph got over it.

Gambit's best cameo is in 309, also he makes a nice one in 303 i think. Angel has a nice one in 309 too i think, and in "On angels wings", but i don't know its number. Forge is in "Middleverse", and there are others but i can't think of them right now. My favorite episode is 308 ( i'm a big rogue fan) "mind bender" is also one of my favorites. Hope i helped!

o man, how could i forget about him. He is one of the main characters in "the cauldron" both parts, and there is one or two more, but i can't remember their names. One is when he and cyclops get lost at sea. They play it all the time during reruns, so it shouldn't be too hard to find on kazaa.

XE was helping me pass the time between movies, but now THERE IS NOTHING!!! If they wanted to play the last three in may, why didn't they space out the entire season? I would much rather have new episodes every other week than have 3 or 4 in a row followed by months of reruns! Just a cool thing. I met the voices of Wolverine, Cyclops and Nightcrawler. I was at Anime Boston (http://www.animeboston.com). Though they were mainly there as Gundam Wing pilot voices. They were all quite cool. I must however point out the craziest of the bunch, Scott McNeil. He plays Wolverine and Duo, but also has done like a million other ones. He was also the first Piccalo. Oh and Nightcrawler was Quatrae and Cyclops was Hiro.

Ok, I've been trying to catch more of this show recently since i met a buncha voice actors at a con. I met the voices of Cyclops, Nightcralwer, and Wolverine. A broup of us got to meet and get a photo with Scott McNeil who plays Wolverine. He was [rul=http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/Forum17/HTML/000041.html]very cool[/url]. Also i got to hear them talk in character. Nightcralwer's VA couldn't think of mcuh so he kept calling out for Kitty. heh.

Plus, am I the only one who doesn't mind the gothish Rouge? Ok, sure that I'm more goth now myself may bias me. I do admit they could have kept the jacket and made her more ragular. Still, the colors are pretty good and if you couldn't touch people wouldn't you be broody and goth?

Oh ya, am I wrong or isn't it that Mystique can NOT turn into animals, because I think it was 2 or 3 nights ago mystique turned into an owl to spy on the X-men.

I hate it that Storm is so much older then Scott and Jean. I hate that the brotherhood goes to school with the X-Men. I hate the "what if they were kids" theme. I also hate the fact that they once again did not have Iceman, Beast, Cyclops, Jean & Angel as the original X-men. Instead they have Kitty Pryde, Nightcrawler Rouge, & Spyke... SPYKE, who the hell is this Marrow copy-off.

I also loved the old Fox X-men. My friend's Brother is getting every episode of it on DVD from his friend(who burnt them).

I appreciate good animation and in that department evolution is much better than the first series. And nitpicking storylines is pretty lame considering the first series had Gambit as a member of the team before they ever met Colossus, Nightcrawler, Angel, or Psylocke. And there was all kinds of stuff wrong with the first series that other x-men fans can pick apart as well.

As for the high school stuff, I hate that too. That's why I really enjoyed the season 2 finale and the first two episodes of season 3. They had nothing to do with "Bayville HS" at all. The episode called "Blind Alley" is probably the best one I've seen though. You can find much better animation on television than what was in that episode.

I think the series is ok, but I'd prefer it if they'd just show the old X-men cartoons,(they should put all on a series of DVDs instead of random episodes) but one thing that really pisses me is that the creators didn't bother with putting iceman, collosus, archangel,but instead they put some kid named spyke or whatever. Not many other villans. (I'm really sick of that Toad guy) plus more heros should be added. Hope they do better.

I'm glad that they kept his origins EXACTLY the same as those of the comics. I like the new look. It brings him back to his Egyptian roots. And poor Mystique, she's stoned (and not in that way, you dingbats). But one thing I wonder: Since when was he able to absorb powers himself? Either way, I did I like that additional power. Now, in my eyes if no one elses, he can live up to the image that has been genrated of him: The most powerful mutant on earth.

Personally, I wasn't too impressed by the first season of X-Men: Evolution. It wasn't because of continuity errors (since it was a diffrent universe, they should be free to do whatever they want with it). It was because the plot seemed mediocre at best. I thought Goth Rogue made perfect sense and I liked the fact that Nightcrawler got a major part in a show for a change. But other than that... nah. The first few episodes of the second seasons didn't strike me as particularly impressive, either.

My mind was changed (laugh if you must), by a fanfic. While browsing for lemons ( http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/wink.gif ), I accidently stumbled upon an XME fic called "Between the Walls" (http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=734160). It was written from the point of view of an original character those mutant power confined him to a "ghost plain". I was impressed by how much depth and humanity all the familiar XME characters suddenly gained. Ever since then, I was never able to look at X-Men: Evolution the same way again.

As for Season 3, the way the mutants were revealed bugs me. It seems to ignore the old maxim: "Show, don't tell". They show the anti-mutant hysteria without really going into why people would hate mutants so much. Other then that, it's the best show on the Saturday Wb lineup.

The week after that will be about the brotherhood, where they do something bad and it is misconstrued into something cgood by the public (which I believe will be humorous). And the week AFTER THAT will introduce Omega Red. Remember, communist guy that is really pale and has tentacles coming from his arms.

This sure has been a dead forum for a while. Season 4 has been pretty good so far and it sounds like its going to get even better.Todays episode "Uprising" was really good. It brought back Spyke, but hes not gay anymore. Now he can have like flaming acid tipped spikes, its really cool. Later in the season there is going to be another two part finale with Apocolypse and the four horseman. So I guess that means Archangel, it is also supposed to introduce Cable.

I think next week, they are doing a whole episode on the Ragin Cajun (for all those who don't know who that is, I am refering to Gambit). Personally, the fight btwn Magneto and Apocalypse was the best 2 minutes of this show's entire run. It showed Magneto using the full extent of his powers. He was out to get rid of the Big A. hey sonic, seeing as how i'm a slacker college student http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif, i'll write you a little synopsis:
"Cajun spice" was basically an all gambit/ rogue episode.
Basically, Rogue is still torn w/ guilt over drop-kicking...er..I mean, *pushing*.... Mystique off of a cliff. The beginning scene shows that it's been 3 months since the incident, and Kurt is still kinda giving Rogue the cold shoulder, although he's still concerned about her wellbeing. He asks ROgue if she's still considering leaving the institute and she said she doesn't know.
So, anyway, Rogue is wandering around all depressed when Gambit enters and knocks her out with some gas... yeah, it's kinda wierd. Apparently, he presses a button on his all-purpose bow staff, and some gas comes out. When Rogue wakes up, she's in the back of a train, tied up, with Gambit watching her. hehe, this part is so fun...(check out the video clips section for this scene.) Basically, lots of great Remy/rogue banter, in which Remy basically tells her he knows she's been upset and he's giving her the chance to forget it all. Rogue's response to that is to try to push him off the train, but hehe, Remy convinces her to give it a chance and whisks her away to New Orleans.
Okay, from here, we find out that Remy's father Jean Luc has been kidnapped by a rival family, headed by the evil Julian. Julian is basically your average cartoony villain, complete w/ bad accent and ponytail. Rogue insists on helping Remy rescue his father. meanwhile, the x-men are all in stitches about Rogue's disappearence and track her to New Orleans. Also, there's a really funny scene w/ Wolverine interrogating Pyro (again, see the video clips section for this) http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/smile.gif.
neway, Rogue accidentally absorbs Remy and discovers he lured her to New Orleans because he needed her help in breaking into the Assassins stronghold. Anyway, he apologizes for that in the end, and Rogue forgives him saying "You did the wrong thing for the right reasons."
The episode ends with Gambit telling Rogue that there's always someone watching over her and that people do care for her. He holds her hand and leaves a Queen of Hearts card. Ah, okay, that's the episode in a nutshell. For rabid Gambit fans like me, it was awesome but if you aren't it was still worth watching.

The episode pretty much was about Gambit, He kidnapped Rogue to help him rescue his stepfather back in Louisiana. I'd have to say this is my fav episode in all the series.

Definately my favorite episode so far. I was worried when they brought Gambit out as a villain(as Magneto's erand boy no less), but they've been handling him really well lately. Story of this whole cartoon series. Get's off to an iffie start but pulls through once you give it time. They've handled all the characters very well.

Xavier, Mystique, Storm and Mangeto= HorseMen. How awesome was that? I'm still trying to figure out which horseman is which. I've figured out that Xavier is Death. I'm going to assume that Magneto is War... just becasue it's Magneto and war is his thing.
Anyway, I liked Apoc better before he went all techno. He just looks too robotic. I lie the Egyptian look better.
Anyway, yeah... my favorite episode.

I was actually worried about seeing Archangel because I want to see him with feathered wings for as long as possible(unlike in the last cartoon series where he became Archangel right off the bat). I just like white feathered wings. Probably why I like Escaflowne as well.
But, hey, we saw that Angel had joined up with one of the parties landing down to take on Apocolypse and the horsemen. We may yet see something pretty cool come of that.
The horsemen thing definately took me by surprise. In a good way. I'm a little worried about Mystique and how well her power will work in defending Apocolypse. But if it's been greatly enhanced, as said, maybe she can turn all giant now like Apocolypse. I wont get my hopes up, though.
Also, I loved Xavier's short peace talks with Apocolypse. Apocolypse has been so much more intimidating in this series than in the last and that was just another part that made him look so powerful. I loved him just floating there having that psychic conversation. He's so tough. I love his voice as well(I believe this is the first time we've heard it aside from his little meetings with Mesmero).

After some talking, I think I've figured out which Horsemen is who.

Xavier: Death. He had that Psi-Scythe, which is like that of the Grim Reaper.
Storm: Famine. It makes sense. She controls the weather. One who controls the weather contrls the growth of plants. Hense, Famine.
Mystique: Pestilence. She could morph into animals that carry diseases and, seeing from her morphing into multiple scorpians, she could become like a swarm of locust or something like that.
Magneto: War. Who better to fill the role of War than Magneto, how has wrought war on the human race for years.

Well, that's my thought on the matter.

Who thinks a couple of mutants will join in the fight later in the battles across the world (ie the brotherhood, pyro)and the tides would turn against Apacolypse. It would be sweet if the battles lasted 2 episodes, or one action packed. This is when the X-Men grow up and become the heros we all know and love.

I m guessing todays episode was the last of the season, am I right?? Well I missed the first 15 mins guess the Brothers changed their minds on fighting. But at the end where Xavier was talking about his visions that was awesome seeing how they would all look in the furture, which brings me to my second question; are there going to be furture seasons? I ve heard before that it was not coming back but then did so now I m just lost on where its future is.
After today there better be more it was just great and I only saw the last 15 mins.

This is the first episode I've seen since...wow, I guess the episode where Rogue pushed Mystique off of the cliff/gazebo thing.

It was just awesome. I like how Apocolypse's intentions were much more clear than in the Fox run of the saga, and I also loved how the Four Horsemen changed. Storm is my favorite character and I loved watching her own all of the ones that were forced to fight her (honestly, did they really think that Beast, Spike, and that Lightning dude-who had the best chance out of all of them) could even try to beat her normally, let alone powered up insanely by Apocolaypse?

I thought it was awesome how Mystique transformed into all of those different things as well. The Four Horsemen here seemed a lot more the way they should have been. Instead of having them like tainted for the rest of their lives with this whole other side of them that Apocolypse created, it allowed them to simply be the tools of the ancient one; and ending once apoclypse's power was cut off. Just an amazing episode.

The ending was brilliant. It allows for both if there is another season, and if there isn't. I'm sorry but I hope there is. Seeing Nimrod and the prime Sentinels (what they looked like), Phoenix, and the X-Men in those costumes (they looked soo much like the Ultimate costumes), made me want to see all the storylines translated into Evolution.

This episode was awesome. I just wish it could have shown more characters doing more things. All in all I think it's a fine way to end the series if they have to. It seems to me that this series mainly encompases the earlier years of the X-Men. If they stick to that it's a good time to end it. What a finale.

The ending sequence was most impressive. It was another reason I wouldn't mind if the series ended now. They did a nice little Epilogue of all the characters, but at the same time it was, possibly, a 'things to come' if they keep the series going.

Some of the 'future members' mainly Gambit.
I might have been pissed if not for the final shot of the X-Men as they will be in the future with Gambit(my favorite) standing standing in his rightful place next to Rogue. Also included who were important for me to see were Colossus, Wolverine's clone girl, and Angel.

Call me picky, but I also would have enjoyed seeing a shot of Wolverine's adamantium being ripped from him. But oh well. Seems there were a lot of people who didn't care for that storyline anyway. I also would have enjoyed a shot of Scott and Jean's wedding. But, like I said, can't have everything but what we got was awesome.

That was, by far, the best episode the writers of that show have ever concieved. The plot, animation, storyline, dialouge, and the FUTURE SCENE were magnificant *the thought sends shivers up my spine*. Does anyone else think from that ending that this very well maybe the last season?

X-Men history 101, lesson #4. Rowdy mutants always end up working for the government. In the comics The Brotherhood became Freedom Force when they joined the government, Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch joined the Avengers and in Ultimate X-Men they themselves with The Ultimates.

Are you asking because you haven't seen the last episode? If you haven't then you should know Xavier tells all the mutants about his visions of the future. He doesn't go into detail but those images are part of his visions.

This way we can see the fully united x-men that we were dying to see.
