I have the first X-Men movie on DVD, but I never got to see X2 at the theater. In fact, I missed out on both Matrix sequels at the theater (from what I hear, I wasn't missing much, especially with Revolutions). Would you say that X2 is as good as the first X-Men movie, or better, or worse, etc?

You should be banned from this website forever and ever and ever!!!! LOL. jk But to answer your question I'd definitely say X2 was better than X-Men. And if you don't believe me click on the Reviews/Previews link on the left and read the reviews for X2. While your at it, read the Fanviews also.
You know on TV shows how they usually show some of it, that sets up the episode, then they role the theme song and opening credits, then show the rest of the episode? Picture the X-Men movies to be like that. X1 was that warming-up, getting you introduced clip, then the 3 years inbetween them were the opening, then X2 is the rest of the show. In other words, X2 was muuuuuuuch better than X1, but would have been nothing if not for X1.

Awesome! I can't wait to see it. Of course, now I'm trying to figure out why on earth I didn't get to see it on the big screen.... who knows, but I hate when that happens. It comes and goes from the theater and then I find out that it was a kick-@$$ movie.
I dunno if you guys play any video games, but I just got I-Ninja yesterday and played it last night. I thought it was great. I don't think you have to be a fan of platformers in order to like it either. I happen to enjoy platformers anyway, but in this game your little ninja character is pretty cool, he has a pretty large assortment of moves like wall jumps, he can use his sword as a propeller and float, he can run up some walls and use a half pipe to build up speed, he can split enemies in half with his sword, he has a grappling hook, etc.
I think the actual game is much better than the demo, but if you haven't even played the demo yet, it's worth your while if you want a fun platformer; http://www.ininjagame.com . Off my own topic, I know, but I thought I'd share anyway just in case there are other gamers here.

Xtra features are awesome. I just watched the 2-discs of extra features for LOTR Two Towers yesterday and the day before. I just love the behind-the-scenes stuff.

Just was wondering if the Mighty Zac got his paws on the DVD before the rest of us slugheads. Now its just a bit weird that you both said something similar perhaps Zac is the next stage of human evolution.

Hmmm, I've heard about Canadian's being high before, but never in this context.

Patrick Stewart has often referred to X1 as an extended trailer, and I would agree. In fact, it's a bit like the teasers for Alias, which sometimes are really long, and the music isn't coming on until about 15 or 20 minutes into the show.
Then again, X1 is also a bit like a tv pilot - I particularly thought that when I saw it on tv the other day - it seems like an abridged version with rather cursory and somewhat token scenes - nowhere near as padded out or developed as X2. X2 is like a proper epic cinematic film, whereas X1 is a bit tv-ish.
