Nay! I am not just saying no because I can't stand to look at him, but he is just too old. THey need to make Gambit's character closer in age to Rogue, say mid twenties or so. That way, he can come in and take her away from that wimp Iceman! Kyle Lowder is my pick for Gambit and he looks awesome as him too!

i dont know who would be a good gambit but the story line must have him do something like in the recent ultimate xmen issues. the actor needs the accent, the right age, the best moves, and hopefully looks like the comic version. if the movie will get bad ass gambit in the action will RULE the mutant powers! but i think thats another topic. i'll make a decision on the best actor for the job later. but for brad...NO NO NO!! he cant pull off the accent and he looks too old for the job anyway. rogue can be a younger girl than gambit but not that far of a difference.

I almost thought this thread was meant to be funny.
Gambit- Smart, quick, sly, and rougish. Also, somewhat lanky.
Pitt- Generally simple, moves with the grace of a tank, obvious, and just not very rougish. Heavy muscle.

Also, Gambit in an X movie would have to be young. He has no place in the modern adult world the official Xmen function in. His relations with Rougue, his devil-may-care additude, everything.

I can see where the Brad Pitt thing is going, and i think he is a talented, good looking actor-who could pull off gambit....

...but he IS too old.

BUT...to be fair...Anna Paquin is too young to really be rogue. I'd like Jolene Blalock or someone a little older and sexier. Anna Paquin is pretty, but she will NEVER be sexy. Gambit and Rogue are a hot couple.
