BATMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES TO DVD?

I read somewhere that WB would start releasing the Batman TAS episodes on DVD, i'm not talking all those "JOKER" "RIDDLER" "PENGUIN" three episode things, i'm talking about the whole series in a collection, has anyone else heard that?

As far as I know, there is one DVD with like the first four eps. I hear they're releasing more in order, but it's been a long time since this first one. I was hoping for a box set, but at this rate... ugh.

Here is the lineup for the first collection:

"On Leather Wings" (Man-Bat origin story)
"Christmas With the Joker" (holiday episode)
"Nothing to Fear" (Scarecrow origin story)
"The Last Laugh" (mediocre Joker episode)
"Pretty Poison" (Poison Ivy origin story)

In addition, the disc features five interviews with show director Bruce Timm, a game in which the viewer pretends to be Batman, and a brief sequence showing cartoonists how to draw Batman. Languages include French, Spanish, and Portuguese.

there are two more dvds coming out, as far as i know. I don't really know when they are coming out or whats on it, but i believe that they are coming out sometime this summer.

Given how cheap Warner Brothers make their DVDs, you are better off tapeing the episodes from TV when it's on Cartoon Network.

The second one came out already (I can't remember which episodes--I'll check tonight and get back to you tomorrow). The 3rd one is supposed to come out late July I beleive.
