Conan O'Brien and his former sidekick on NBC's "Late Night," Andy Richter, are reuniting for NBC primetime. (http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/TV/03/07/television.richter.reut/index.html)

Oh man, if this is half as good as Andy Richter Controls the Universe, it will instantly be a top ten sitcom. Add in Conan, and I think we have must-see TV. :)

Hell yeah!

"I had a great night last night."

Andy walks in on two women in an office kissing to pass lipstick.

"And today's even better!"

Agreed. "Universe" was hilarious. This looks like it's in the same ballpark. I say this as Conan and Andy's original fan because it seems like I was the only one who liked them when they started in 1993. :D

I wouldn't say "misunderstood"!! Most people I know recognized it as being great from the start.

Dude, the first season almost got him fired. I'd say that's pretty well misunderstood.

Too many, "He's no Dave Letterman," that first season. They were right. Conan's better. :D

Actually, Conan was fired from what I heard. They just didn't have a replacement for 12:30, so they left him on the air in the meantime. Then, he either got enough ratings to justify him staying on the air, or the administration at the network changed. In any event, he slipped through the cracks. Eventually, he gained enough ratings to stay. Then, he gained even more ratings to get named Leno's replacement for 11:30.

Some personal favorites: Conan [and Andy] on the Aisle, Pimpbot 5000, Pierre Bernard's Recliner of Rage, and the satellite on the roof that gets the weird channels, like "Ronald McA-Hole" and "Max on Max".
