Ok guys we all know by now that Christian Bale was casted to batman. Out of all the all the movie and tv actors who have worn the mask, CHRISTIAN BALE has to be the perfect casted one of all time. It has also been said that the main villan in the movie will be RA'S AL GHUL. My question is who could play this role, and also the role of talia the daughter RA'S AL GHUL. My casting pic for RA'S is JOHN MALKOVICH,and my second pic is everyone's actor CHRISTOPHER WALKEN. And for the role of TALIA I pick Cathrine Zeta Jones, my second pick would be Monica Bellucci. Let me know what you think of my pics.

I'm not so sure that this thread isn't going to be closed and moved to the Batman forum, BM. But I'll opine here anyway......I always thought that the idea of Christian Bale was a good one, he's a terrific actor and has the physicality to play Bruce Wayne/Batman. As for the other choices to which you are asking, to be quite honest, I have seen these names RA (something) or another for quite a time now, and I can't say that I remember this character whatsoever, so I'm going to have to decline from opining on the choices that you put forth, because I simply don't know who he his.

I still maintain that Bruce Willis would be the perfect Bruce Wayne/ Batman... but Christian Bale will do the roles justice as well. I've seen some of his acting and I have to agree that it is par for the role of the brooding playboy by and the caped and cowled vigilante by night. On the matters of Ra's Al Ghul and Talia... I'd like to see Sean Connery as Ra's and Monica Bellucci as Talia. I feel that Sir Sean Connery has the stage presence to pull of a self important, egotistal, maniacal madman like Al Ghul. My secong choice for the role of Ra's would be Hugh Grant. Don't bother to ask why. I don't know. My second choice for Talia would have to be Catherine Zeta jones. I totally agree with your casting on the matter of Talia. Both actresses would breathe life into the role.

Now, as for Ubu? I'd like to see that dimwitted, muscular lifegaurd 'Chip' from Son of the Beach. I don't recall his name at this point in time, but feel that he has the presence of a bodygaurd/ servant. Are Nightwing and Robin going to be in this feature? I'd cast Haley Joel Osment as a young Tim Drake/ Robin and Mark Paul Gosselar as Dick Grayson/ Nightwing.

To bigkid, you should go to www.dccomics.com (http://www.dccomics.com) and on that website you can find out about the RA'S AL GHUL character, by going under secret files link. to BIGGCAESER thanks for the compliment on my pics. I do think Sean connery is a great pic but a decade to old. Finding a actor for this role is going to be extremely difficult. Although i have to say you brought up very good question about the ROBIN/NIGHTWING character. How are they going to handle that, I believe it would of been a smarter idea for Warner Brothers to restart the franchise.

I believe you're right. Not only are we going to have a younger Bruce Wayne, we're going to follow through from where we were left off... I believe it was Gerorge Clooney (ahem) that last donned the mantle. This, in and of itself, raises many questions. Case in point, are we to believe that Bruce has undergone a radical anti- aging technique (LOL) or that we are somewhere in Wayne's past. It's interesting...

They are restarting the franchise. This will be a semi-origin flick.

His role as Goblin is the reason why I want him for Joker. He's shown that insanity comes very naturally in his acting abilities. He can also get that Jokerish smile. It's just, only an actor of his caliber could pull off such crazy insanity and not look like a fool.
As for him being too short, let's look at Jack Nicholson.....
Jordon, I think we're going to fight to the grave over this one....

I'd like to see Harley too. However, I think Burton can be excused for not having her in the first film because I don't believe the character even existed in 1989 (though I may be wrong).

If she existed anywhere in 1989 it was in the mind of Paul Dini. But you are correct about the film existing before the character. Harley was never in the comics before Batman TAS.

She was created for the show and then adapted for the comics.
