Bats Vs Sups: A new casting saga!

Well i don't know if anyone else here has read it but i saw something on Wolfgang Peterson. He said that he was still interested in making a Bats Vs Sups movie but not with Bale or with the person that WB have picked to play Blue boy (there's a story in itself... have WB picked their Superman???). Anyway... his choices for the roles are... Orlando Bloom and Eric Bana!!

Don't know about anyone else here but I think the blokes a nutbag, Bloom as Superman (speculation on my part)! That's worse than that Josh Hairnet fella!!!

So bascially Peterson just wants to cast two increasingly big name actors he's recently worked with in the parts with litte consideration that anyone else will fit. Bah. I thought the was better than that.

My first reaction when reading this was to start guffawing all over the place but there could be some merit to this. I think Bana could play The Bat as long as he doesn't walk around with that goofy look on his face like he did in The Hulk. Bloom? Hmmm...serious workout regimen and some lifts may help because you talk about slight with that guy.

Could be inspired casting or just a joke but it's probably going to come to nothing because WB seems to have killed it.

The movie would have been a blast though because I'm a big fan of Peterson and can't wait to see Troy in a few months.

Im a bit dissapointed because when Peterson was originally casting the movie he said he was very interested in getting Paul Rudd to play Superman. I thought that was total genius casting on his part. But the two he wants now Im just very dissapointed. Not to mention Bale is the fans choice already.

Bana looks like he can brood pretty well. I think he could pull it off as Batman after some working out.
But Bloom..... No help there....
