Well I can't say that I like this design for a "Batmobile". But it sure looks like it would be fun to drive. I hope they don't expect us to believe that that thing will be able to go any faster than a Lada.

Hey! I have it on good authority that Lada's a pure evil mean machines! They can do at least 35mph if you find the right hill to push it down! (just make sure the path is clear of small stones, those abrupt stops can cause whiplash you know ;-)

i like the new batmobile don't forget it's supposed to be like a army vehicle

i think because this movie is an origin story that because this is like year one that latter on maybe in the sequel they will add on wins and stuff

I perfer the batmobile of the first two movies. A batmobile that wasn't a... tank. But, I guess thing thing will do the job. I have faith that the moive will be a complete screw up over a tank for a car.

Here's a scenario. Lets say it's the real car, but the producers aren't sure if fans are going to like it, so they release a photo of it and see how people react. If the response is positive they let it stand. If it's negative, because of the date, they can just say it was a gag and head back to the drawing board.
It's all an elaborate conspiracy, like the producers of Smallville hanging out in my bushes so they can steal my thoughts.

I don't know about that, only because I heard and read about that news at least a couple of days ago, which would've been March 30th... so the April fool's joke would've been lost that prematurely.

Man...you guys are nuts...This is the best piece of Batman hardware ever imagined for a Batfilm. The key to Batman is functionality above asthetics. What doesnt make sense is the complex identity of Batman having a fixation on Bats on every damn inch of every stupid peice of equiptment. This Batmobile at least looks like it can do what a Vigilante would need in a vehicle.....BLOW THE HELL out of crap.

Being a Sidekick & all I posted this on the wrong thread, so i thought I should move it here.

Hi all, new to the board.
Bats Is by far the best(when written properly) comic character out there.
Now all this stuff about the Batmobile:
If Gotham is a sprawling "Metropolis" like say any big city how is it that a car of any type would be practical?
If there is heavy traffic or construction he would be sitting there like everyone else, & probably getting flipped off & pissed off too.

I used to work in a comic shop about 10 years ago & when I 1st heard about this I would have debates with the customers about how practical this would be instead of the car.
& no this doesn't eleminate the need of the Batjet.
