On The 60's TV show was it ever established or is it just generally assumed that Eartha Kitt's Catwoman was indeed Selena Kyle?

What, don't you know? Like Halle Berry once said, there have been many catwomen throughout history, and she is just the latest in a long line of feline females. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/wink.gif They were obviously setting up this new Catwoman movie even back in the 1960s and were just waiting for the right black actress to take the role to be the new KitKat! http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/biggrin.gif

Now comes the part where I relieve you, the little people, of the burden of your failed and useless lives. But remember, as my plastic surgeon always said: if you gotta go, go with a smile.

Dude you are a bigot aka BIG IDIOT

BATMAN - The Movie (1966)
Lee Meriwether .... Catwoman/Comrade Kitanya 'Kitka' Irenya Tantanya Karenska Alisoff (OMG What Not Selina Kyle Holy Batastrophe)

Batman Returns (1992)
Michelle Pfeiffer .... Catwoman/Selina Kyle

Catwoman (2004)
Halle Berry .... Patience Phillips/Catwoman

The Selina Kyle issue seems to be a moot point since Catwoman has been her only ONCE on the big screen.

"Maybe you should try reading books in stead of burning them!" Well you keep posting this, but your comment is a moot point. Just because Selina has only been on film once, doesn't mean she doesn't have a history and entire backstory. Hell, she's got mutliple backstories since DC has redone continuity a number of times. Please check out the Catwoman books. The recent book is excellent and has a great crime noir and caper tone to it. It is a shame they didn't try something different like that instead of a cliche superhero movie.

And speaking of Sean Connery, I still think Entrapment is closer to Catwoman than this current film.

Also, I don't care if Selina is white or black or hispanic. Just get me a good and sexy actress to play her and I'll be happy. Hell, I could have lived with and maybe even liked Halle as Catwoman if she were selina and they gave her a decnet and orignal story instead of this retread.
