View Full Version : My opinion

Hello I'm Kenny and this is my whole opinion
on up to today.
First off whywhen I get into the batman begins forum I have to sign in to post then be at my account for that forum company and I cant jump to the begins forum to post and I searched for it at the company account and nothing please help?

anyway heres my opinion: The new Catwoman movie with no disrespect to Berry is going to suck because face it Catwoman always had long hair, the suit is wrong unless the movie was based in a sunny beach region it might seem proper but face it Gotham is a dark cold city (you dont walk around Baltimore in a bikini and specifically at night do you)

The New Batman Begins movie in 2005 is going to send a shiver up your spinal chord and break every thought and mis consemption you had about batman.Christian bale makes the hair on my arm stand up every time I see the photo of him on the steps of the Wayne Mansion,HE IS Batman.Little worried about the suit hope its not too shiny but great idea of having the bottom of the mask coneccted to the bold cape, hope he's able to move his neck.Anyway Alfred and Lucious Fox will bring the value of importance and foundation to the film. The Dark Stallion that is Bales batmobile is awsome but hope its black and prey that it fits through alleys and is fast as hell.Love the decision on Scarecrow I thought about doing something with the character at the Fallston MD Haunted Hayride last year maybe this year. The thing I like about Scarecrow is he doesn't have a gang to send out He creates terror.Rah Sa Guhl (think its spelled correctly) is good choice but Al Pacino will always be the embodyment to me.This Time Batman Is the gritty mouth full of blood Dark Knight.

Superman should be played by Cavelierz and if not him Kutcher.I know I said Kutcher but as a back up and look at the Cover of the Butterfly Effect. Welling I love him to death as Clark but the film would leave the Smallville seasons meaningless.Cavelierz you could recognize with as the Universal signal as strength and heroism, he just gives off that untouchable when confident aura.Cavelierz is superman end of that.
Conclusion: Christian Bale IS Batman,Berry in that costume and short hair is not Catwoman,Cavalierz IS Superman and I still need help with that Begins Forum.Kenny the Quiet silencing.

Sorry... I'd really like to respond to your thoughts in some fashion, but I could barely understand anything you wrote.

I'm sorry, but I don't unsterstand why you need your own thread for your opinions which I think run between nitpicks and generic and not well thought out casting.

First of all, Halle Berry's hair is one of the minor things wrong with the new Catwoman movie. In the current book, which is an excellent and realistic crime and caper comic, she has short hair and lkooks wonderful. Though I must admit having blonde hair for Halle makes her more like her half white side than her black side which she always prmotes. Hell, I'd even argue the costume is minor compared to some of the complete crap in that movie. Plus the suit isn't a bikini, it's more of a skimpy fashion designer S&M gear that just happens to have a bikini top, not something you wear to teh beach. Heck, if they got anything of the other wrong things right in the movie, I could live with that costume.

Yes, Batman Begins is gonna be good. I know I got a few nitpicks (I hear no Thalia or Lazarus pits), but I am very postive about the movie and they just seem to get everything pretty well right. As for Ra's Al Ghul, Pachino isn't bad, but I rather like Watanabe and think he can do a commanding performance.

Then you go and bring in Superman for I don't know why. James Caviezel, the fantastic and dedicated actor from Passion who I belive you are talking about, would make a good Superman. Though maybe he's a bit skinny. Then again I'm sure people said the same about Reeves. Yet I'm sure there are a number of other good canidates for Superman. Though I do not count Kutcher among them. I hear Butterfly Effect was pretty good, but I'm in no rush to see it. It reminds me of a mainstream studio darling version of Donnie Darko with a little bit of Somewhere in Time. I'm in no rush to see it even if the sailboat guy from Mallrats is all punked out in it. Anyway, Kutcher jsut seems too much of a studio pretty boy and I want someone with more a proven dramatic acting career.

Now, I totally agree that I would not want to see Kutcher in the Red and Blue. But, I do want to point on thing out. Michael Keaton, I don't think, had ever really done a serious drama before. Then, we get Batman. He was the best Batman of the old era.
... Just some food for thought.

Now comes the part where I relieve you, the little people, of the burden of your failed and useless lives. But remember, as my plastic surgeon always said: if you gotta go, go with a smile.

Actually, Keaton had just done 'Clean and Sober' before 'Batman.' I seem to recall that it was his stellar performance in that film that convinced WB to allow Burton to cast him.

AH, okie. My mistake. But, my major point is that he was FOR THE MAJORITY a comic actor.

Just for the record, she has short hair in the current comics. Not that the hair length is really the previaling suck-factor on this movie.

Ah yes, and just so you also know, the movie is not set in Gotham City. Im not absolutely certain but I think it's in New York. I do know it's not in Gotham though.
