OK, I give up ... where is it ???

This movie comes out in less than 11 months from now and there isn't a single official teaser trailer (or poster) out yet. What gives? I thought a general rule of thumb in the film industry is to begin the hype early to build upfront interest. I mean, yes, Christian Bale's been on the cover of EW and that is a start, but there should be at least a teaser trailer out before Labor Day weekend comes to a close.

I saw I,ROBOT hoping that the Will Smith movie may have a BATMAN BEGINS trailer attached. It didn't (IR was still a good flick, tho). Now I hear that CATWOMAN doesn't have a BB trailer either ... actually I'm kinda relieved cuz now I have absolutely NO reason to watch that dreck at all.

So does anyone know when and to which movie the official BB trailer will be showing up on? Or what the contents of the trailer will be like?

The teaser was pretty much the only reason why I was going to see Catwoman. Now that it's no longer there...... I don't know if I'll be taking time out of my schedule to see it...
And I too have heard it coming out with AvP.

What kinda crap is that???

THE TRAILER IS ON "THE VILLAGE"!

I know this to be true because I work in a projection booth and tonight I actually had the trailer in my hand. I'm not passing on information from another source that got their information from yet another source, the actual trailer was in my hand. The running time on it is 1:05.

But beware, this trailer will not be on every print of "The Village". We have a contract with a company that tells us what trailers to put on what movies, and in what order. My theater for instance, will have two prints of "The Village" this Friday, but only one will have the Batman trailer. Some theaters let the projectionist decide trailer placement, and they could leave it off all together. So if you're going to see the movie only in hopes of seeing the Batman trailer, be sure to ask about it before you buy your ticket.

I am very impressed with the Batman Begins teaser trailer. It has a horror film aftertaste that was surprising and appropriate. By teaser, they do mean 'tease', because they reveal enough to have us salivating over the prospect of what this movie suggests and promises. I'm certainly peckish!

Nowadays, the term trailer means to reveal and about 3/4 of the film's entire plot in about 2 minutes and 15 seconds. I mean, lok At Spidey 2. You knew what was going to happen before the movie even started.
