what do you think the score should be like in batman begins? should it have with words for band like spiderman or should it have an original score like the batman mvies before hand

They could always ask Prince to do it again.

But seriously I say they should go with a straight score and not a bunch of "popular" bands with songs that barely relate to the movie.
But then it is the WB and they so love to pimp their music.

Well there's the score and the soundtrack. They used to be one and the same, but lately soundtracks are now "music from and inpired by the motion picture".

I will now forever remember since the time I bought teh Batman Forever score instead of the soundtrack.

Burton said that the guy who scored Memento is working on this. I'm glad. I like Danny ELfman, but let someone else tackle superheros.

I think Elfman, however brings the perfect flavor to every movie he does. His music ALWAYS fits the mood. I just like him...

I think they should have a combo of both score and bands, like the "music from and inspired by" stuff.

Now comes the part where I relieve you, the little people, of the burden of your failed and useless lives. But remember, as my plastic surgeon always said: if you gotta go, go with a smile.

Everytime I hear Greenday's Boulevard of Broken Dreams I can't help but think of Batman. I know it was rumored for a bit to be in the moive. At the same time, I don't seeing it fitting in the film. Maybe on one of those 'music from and inpired by' soundtracks. While the last two movie did stink, they had some decent, though sometimes irrelevant, soundtracks.

It would ahve been nice had they use the song in the trailer. Instead the use the song in some damn skateboarder movie where it made no damn scence. It was jsut putting in a pop rock song for the sake of putting in a pop rock song. It was sad and ticked me off when I saw it.
